Just been playing more Breath of the Wild. Have done 95 Shrines and found 152 Korok seeds. It blows my mind to know that there 900 of those things to be found. Checking out Hero’s Path on the map is very handy to see where you have yet been in the game world. I’m finding quite a few new locations that I haven’t seen on my previous playthrough and there are some places that I did visit before that I have yet to find again. It’s an impressively large and interesting world to run around in.

Not much gaming for me this weekend. I was at our big local horror convention. I did bring the Wii U though and played a little Smash Brothers with the kid during some down time. I also met Elvira. That was cool.

She does, but keep in mind she's 67 years old now. They are not quite as perky as they once were. That said, she really does look great for her age though.

Yeah, those days are gone. That you have to appreciate her full range of talents. She knew her body made her stand out, but she was funny and wickedly fast on her feet. She was part of the same improv troupe that Phil Hartman and Pee Wee Herman came out of, and just as good as those guys.

Back to gaming, this week was quiet for me in terms of game time.  I managed to get a couple of hours of co-op MH World in with a good friend, as we always try to on Fridays.  During the weekend I snuck in some Splatoon2 matches, but that was all.  Still enjoying using the bloblobber.  Just the name itself makes me smile.  Nyaa

Just saw the list of games on the Playstation classic. Um....lame.

Only 20 games...ok, fine. But those 20 games should be the absolute most iconic games on the console.

Rainbow Six? Lol wut? Much better on other platforms.

Intelligent Cube? No.

The original Twisted Metal instead of TM2?

The original Persona? Just because of the series popularity TODAY, this gets included over games that are much better. LAME.

No Tomb Raider, no Gran Turismo, no Castlevania, no Chrono Cross, no Vagrant Story, no Dino Crisis....and on and on.

Mr Driller? Great porn name, but I don't think it should take a top 20 PS1 spot.

Fuck this console.

Yeah, the lineup is pretty awful for the PlayStation classic. Maybe not awful, but very very safe in an exciting. They did fine with Final Fantasy 7 and Metal Gear Solid obviously, but I'm surprised there isn't another great Square RPG on it. No Chrono Cross or Final Fantasy Tactics?

They have Super Puzzle Fighter, but not one of the many 2D Capcom fighters?

And the original Persona? Jesus Christ. I'm as big of a Persona fan as they get, but that game is completely undesirable. They should have gone for Persona 2: Eternal Punishment. That's still a pretty rough in dated RPG, but there's at least some personality there to keep you going.

Edge listed off a lot of other good games, and while I get why a few of them won't come out due to recent remakes in rever Lisa like Symphony of the Night and Crash, that library is too damn vast for them to have gone with some of these choices.

Other than Gran Turismo and a Street Fighter, I don't think any of the games either of you are suggesting have a broader appeal than the games you've mentioned you want to replace. (Notwithstanding picking different games in the same series.)

I read this on the main page, without the image showing and thought you were referring to Elvira's tits in the gif.  LOL

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who thought that. I was all ready to post, “Admire them. Always admire them.” LOL

Isn't the PS Classics lineup problem that most of the good games were 3rd party so it would be harder to get all these companies to agree on the inclusion of their games?

Yeah but Nintendo didn't have a problem getting third parties to cooperate: Capcom, S-E, Namco, Tecmo, and Konami all threw in great games.
