Anyone who rips off other writers is pretty dirty in my book, but I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and just say he was a dumb guy that made a dumb mistake. But after he released his "sorry I got caught" apology it was pretty clear that he was a piece of crap. That said, I'm not super surprised he got hired, as the only thing you really need to write for a game site these days is some persistance and a willingness to work for just over minimum wage. I am surprised they made the dumbass an editor though. Shit, that just makes me wonder how bad the rest of the staff at IGN is. Then again that's not true. I haven't been to IGN in years.

This got me.  After a trying day at work, I log on and read this thinking, “ I read this this morning but I thought Robio wrote it.”

Dude, this is actually great fucking news. This pretty much guarantees they will be getting HD remasters, as THQ Nordic have pretty much rereleased everything they own.

Yay!

He basically does what I did to Dvader's Uncharted 4 review, when I jokingly took it and changed it into a Rise of the Tomb Raider review. Only this guy was getting paid for it. LOL

zing!

It's kind of unhealthy that people take this poor guy seriously:

You'll not be saying that when you're immortal and living on Mars (registered trademark of Tesla) in a few thousand years.

But he is also very wealthy, so whatever he says must be important and newsworthy.  It is the way of the world.  Does he also do Twitter?

Vampyr could definitely make a great movie or show if done well. I'm almost at the end, hopefully finish it tonight.

Sucks that Spyro was delayed, because I was really looking forward to playing it next month. But it's for a damn good reason.

Even if it wasn't for a good reason like this, I'm kind of happy the game is being delayed. There is no way I'm going to be able to fit it in my schedule for next month. Dragon Quest XI is getting top priority, and then valkyria Chronicles after that. No way was Spyro going to fit in with that madness. New games get precedence over remasters every time.

Speaking of Dragon Quest, does anyone realize it has been 9 years since Dragon Quest 9 came out? That's almost the length of time we went from Dragon Quest 4 to 7.

I have a, err, digital copy I believe. But the last one and ONLY DQ game I've ever played was DQ8 in 2006 on the PS2.

Just read in the mainstream news that Germany will allow the swastika and other nazi symbolism in games. It will be on a per game basis to prevent gratuitous use.

I'd recommend checking out Dragon Quest V if you're in the mood for a more old school RPG experience (the DS version). Of course, if you want really a big fan of 8, you might not like the others either.

I loved 8. Felt like a Zelda game to me.
