This is extremely poor form, even for Valve.  They're basically admitting that they're too busy ferrying their bags of money from one side of their office to the other in a wheelbarrow to keep up acting as if they care what happens on Steam.

About a year after entering the post-fact world, we have now entered the new realm of the post-values reality.  Finding things offensive is a personal matter, so nothing can be deemed offensive.  Valve has embraced the idea that within steam there exists something akin to a dark web, where not only will the community will be allowed to turn ever more toxic, but games will be able to be as misogenistic, racist, disrespectful and toxic as the worst specimens of humankind with an ability to code.

As someone who lives in a country that censors stuff, I wish Valve had the balls to ignore the law, but sadly they're posers when it comes to their commitment to free speech; just as they are to obeying laws when it doesn't suit them (consumer law). That aside, how is this different to Amazon? Someone wrote an article about it. Not only dose Amazon sell abhorrent stuff that people consider legitimate just because it goes through traditional sets of quality control, but it also sells abhorrent stuff that doesn't (self-published texts); but no one hears about it, because no one is there to inadvertently promote it with an article railing against it.

I bought a XB360 game today, meaning that it now surpasses the Dreamcast in terms of games owned (PS3 108, Dreamcast 107).

Don't worry there are still 9 consoles ahead of the 360, but it has broken the top ten.

Anyone read the Wii emulator Nvidia made for the Shield in China? It gives a better than 1080p resolution and sounds pretty great. Wouldn't mind some HD switch ports.

Yeah I watched that video the other day, game looked really good. Would love to see Nintendo port the Galaxy games over to the Switch. Those games were awesome and I’d definitely purchase them again.
