Woo hoo! Yay for Capcom and yay for Monster Hunter World.
The prices for the older titles are definitely too high...especially when you can play them for free with an emulator with a nice clean image and an Xbox controller. Sony's PS2 titles on the PS4 are also too expensive and they don't have enough of them. Granted, they added things to them, but they still shouldn't be upwards of $20 apiece. At first they were all $10...then they raised it to $15, and now you're starting to see more and more $20 PS2 and even PS1 titles like Final Fantasy 9.
It's a pretty large game. Definitely worthy of full price. I haven't played a ton of it yet myself but I've watched my mother play it and it's got a giant quest for sure.

Yes, yay for them. Still, I hope that now the series has established itself in the West, Capcom will slowly reintroduce some of the elements the cut from World.
I must say that I’m a little bit surprised by this. It’ll be interesting to see how it turns out.
They also just announced Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate for the Switch. Which is coming this August. It’s a port of the previously Japan exclusive Monster Hunter XX. I think you mistook it for this Robio.
Also those who have played Monster Hunter Genrations on the 3DS can transfer all their stats and data over to the Switch game and continue playing with those characters.
You're right. My mistake. It popped up on my Facebook feed. I'm a little surprised they're going through with this. I guess it's just low effort money for them.
Yeah I think they are just putting something out there while the iron is still hot with Monster Hunter World. I’ll still buy it being the corporate whore that I am.
I suppose I will be given my very brief time with Monster Hunter Tri on the Wii I really have no idea how the previous games played like. I’m willing to bet that I’ll be complaining about a number of things.
Generations Ultimate has a fuckton more content to it, but it's definitely less user-friendly. Really it will come down to just how into the game you get. If you can put up with the old fashioned quirks, then this would occupy you for a lot longer than World.
I’ve reading up on it a little so as to get ready about what to expect from this and yeah there seems to be a LOT more monsters and just stuff in general in it. Really looking forward to getting it even though I’m sure that there will be some quality of life things that might annoy me. Still expect to have a lot of fun with it though.
I've decided to go digital only on the Switch. As much as I like to have a physical collection, with that system it just doesn't make sense to me.
I only have Mario and Zelda, and the plain cases mixed with the tiny little game carts just don't make for an impressive box. On top of that, IDK about anyone else but I find it to be kind of a pain in the ass to insert the carts and take them out of the Switch...certainly more annoying than a good ol' disc or old school normal sized N64 carts. And I think the boxes are kind of ugly too. So I just decided fuck it, I'll download everything on there and be done with it.
I just hope the big downloads don't take too long.
Nice
Did I read that right....Crystal Dynamics are not the developer on the new Tomb Raider? The Deus Ex guys are? That's what it seemed like in that article.
Yeah Eidos Montreal, but Crystal Dynamics is also working on the game.
Though the previous games Eidos Montreal also worked on them in an additional development role.
In Shadow of the Tomb Raider Eidos Montrel is the lead developer with Crystal Dynamics in the additional development role.
I guess it is because they are both working on the untitled "The Avengers" video game for Marvel.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
Huh...weird. Starting to sound like Ubisoft with the dev swap strategy.
