That is highly curious since it has not been confirmed anywhere else. I'd love to see it happen though.
Yeah, highly unlikely. What makes it even more curious is that it's not like these dates have just not been updated. The whole Switch section was only added today.
So if Xenoblade X comes out on the Switch, I wouild rather play it there. So that leaves me with 3 games that I have yet to play on Wii U: Tokyo Mirrage Sessions, Wonderful 101 (never finished it) aaaaand Twilight Princess HD. I'm assuming the Gamecube Zelda remasters are going to come to Switch (that would be a great collection package) and Wonderful 101 wouldn't surprise me either.
What a shitty library the Wii U ended up with....oh my fucking word. EASILY the most disappointing lineup for a Nintendo system ever. The system itself I thought was really cool but it just didn't get the support at all, even from Nintendo themselves. You could tell once they knew it was going to flop they just stopped developing on it except for a game here or there. The original Wii has a much better lineup and ironically that's the one who was super focused on casuals. The first few years were GOOD, but the last few were ABYSMAL!
I just want to be able to put the Wii U away after looking at it for the last few days, so I've decided to get a Switch close to launch. I'll break it out whenever I want to play original Wii games or one of the digital games I have, but other than that it needs to go away. I'll grab Zelda on Switch....if I can't get it right away I'll live...lots of other shit to play.
Yup this.
I expect SS remaster in a few years.
If they do, they better add enough effects so that the whole game looks like the cutscenes. Some of the cutscenes in that game were truely beautiful
But I don't think that porting will be easy as there's no sensorbar, so aiming by pointing is not possible on Switch..
Still keeping the U for Zelda, then who knows. I want to see what happens to the VC games.
I still have my Wii and I'll keep my Wii U along with all the games I have for those systems because that's how us collectors roll.
Dragon Quest VIII for 3DS comes out in two days.
Get hyped bitches!
No.
*gasp*
Heathen!
I've only ever considered selling one game ever since I had enough disposable income to not have to sell stuff to afford newer consoles. That was Super Mario World for the GBA. I bougth it, didn't like it for some reason I've forgotten, went to the shop to sell it, heard what it was still worth and walked back out again.
I did however one time return a game to the shop the day after, having beaten the whole thing in one sitting. They had a policy that let you return games, even opened ones, within a certain timeframe. The game was F-zero Maximum Velocity. What a piece of crap, unworthy of the F-zero name, that was. I think I even cashed in on the star points by peeling off the scratch away sticker and putting it back on after I had entered the code.
Ugh... The place I preordered my Switch at has just added the option with the coloured controllers, for a €10 premium. They're the only ones to do so, but since I have vouchers for that store for a total worth of about €360, it seems as if I'll be getting an all grey Switch. Maybe it's for the best, it'll be nice to be able to take out a Nintendo console in a public space and for once not be frowned upon as if I just took a box of Duplo out of my backpack and started building crude wangs with it.
Fire Emblem Echoes coming to 3DS this year
It still kind of floors me how Fire Emblem went from being a lower tier cult favorite series for 20 years, and then Awakenings hit and suddenly it becomes a mainline Nintendo franchise.
On that note, last weekend I spent some time playing a translated version of Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War for the SNES, and holy crap.... I can't make it through the first damned battle.
I really hate that. Just let me build my crude wangs judgement free dammit.
Crude Wang.... great band name.
Same here. I wonder if it's deliberate because of the Switch. They say that it isn't meant to replace the 3DS but I'm not entirely convinced.
