Nintendo is so bizarre. Now that Microsoft and Sony have laid out their plans for the next few years Nintendo really needs to come out and give consumers the info on what the NX is going to be. It's almost like they have this fetish for not releasing information on what their new systems are going to be like. I envision them circle jerking in some dark room wishing that they would never have to give out any information. It probably pains them when their new systems actually come out because it's no longer their little secret anymore.

I've never liked how they do that shit. To have such little faith in your own ability to make a better product than your competition. Basically it comes down to them saying "we have this cool thing but we don't want to put too much money into it. our competitiors will make a better product if they like our idea so we will hold off until just before launch to show you. that way, it will take them at least a year until after our system launches for them to release anything".
But not letting anyone know about your shit until so late in the game is risky. The average person doesn't know what the fuck an NX is or that Nintendo even came out with a successor to the original Wii.
Finally beat that Seregios yesterday, so now I have enough parts to make a piece of equipment. I feel like a kid in a candy shop. Should I go for the hammer, my weapon of choice? I already have a good hammer though... Should I go for a hunting horn? They're cool for multiplayer, but I kind of suck with them on my own... Perhaps a Charge Blade? They're really cool to use, but I know I'll default back to a hammer...
The last boss of Jotun is stupid hard. Not fun hard. Not challenging hard. Stupid hard. Homing lightning bolts plus huge poisonous area attacks from enemies plus enemies that limit your dodging area while you have to dodge bolts from the sky... Not fun.
Also, Darkest Dungeon is very, very broken on the PS4. It crashes every 10 minutes, causing loss of progress. Don't bother getting it right now...
I also got XCOM 2 on PS4 today and the River City Ransom remake for 3DS, but haven't tried either yet. If there's something wrong with either one of them a system or systems are liable to go flying...

The run of physical cartridges must have been super tiny. Last night Natsume announced they'll do another run since it was far more successful than they anticipated. I'm holding off for that, but if I can't get one that time I'll be downloading it.

Speaking of limited runs of physical copies, are you still planing on getting Fast Racing NEO this Friday? I might not be able to pick it up on day one since we're having the baby shower for all our family and friends on Saturday, but I'm definitely getting it and plan on giving it another run, possibly also dipping in the online multiplayer.
I don't see how Bit.Trip Runner warranted 2 sequels. The Bit.Trip games themselves were fabulous good fun, but runner was, in my opinion, the worst game of the bunch. Beat and Void were my personal favorites.

I have a running playthrough of the previous XCOM quietly waiting in my steam library. If I do reach the end, I might get the second one.
