New Licensed Zelda Master Sword and Shield Replicas from Merchoid

Birmingham, UK, 7th April 2016, – Official gaming merchandise retailer Merchoid have revealed that the Zelda Master Sword and Shield are the latest items to be added to their officially licensed Legend of Zelda Cosplay Collection. Both the sword and shield are exact replicas of the weapons featured in the 2011 Wii game The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. The Master Sword is a highly detailed, plastic replica of Link’s weapon; it also comes with a Scabbard for sheathing the weapon when it is not being used. The iconically designed blue and silver Hylian Shield and bears the symbol of the Triforce and the Hylian Crest. The Masters Sword measures 66cm tall, while the dimensions of the shield are 48cm x 38cm x 9cm, making both item suitable sized accessories for an adult Link cosplayer.


Merchoid’s Zelda Cosplay Collection has already proven popular, as Merchoid Community Manager Jessica Adams explains “Cosplay keeps getting more and more popular each year and nearly every videogaming event now has some form of cosplay element. We wanted to help Zelda fans by providing a collection of well made, officially licensed, accurate cosplay accessories they can use for their costumes. The Sword and Shield are exact replicas of the in-game weapons, so they’re the perfect items to finish off a Link costume.”


The Legend of Zelda Master Sword Replica is available to preorder now from Merchoid.com for £25.99/€42,99/$39.99 and the Hylian Shield Replica is available to preorder now for £22.99/€39,99/$34.99 (all of which include free worldwide shipping). Both items are due to ship on 15th July 2016. Both products are officially licensed by Nintendo.

Not too sad the Nosgoth game is cancelled. Maybe it just didn't age well, but I tried The Legacy of Kain some months ago and hated it.

I don't think anyone is sad about Nosgoth. At best it was a game that no one wanted. At worst it was a "fuck you" to the fanbase who wanted a new installment or reboot to the Legacy of Kain series.
