I smell a rant by edges alter ego alpha omega sin.
They have amazing graphics which no one is impressed by anymore.
Totally amazing graphics!
With my back getting worse and worse, there's a few things I'm not supposed to be doing: going out, driving and drinking alcohol among the top of the list of no-no's.
Just got back from driving myself to pick up some sushi, beer and a new game...
A very drunk and very naughty Leo should be making an appearance later!
...and the game I picked up was Dirt Rally; one of the most technical and precise racing games to date!
Wheeeee...!
Drunk Leo!!! Can't wait
I smell Flatis.
STOOPID UPDATES!! I HAVE A NEED, A NEED FOR SPEED!!
I'm impressed by that, just not archaic shit like Uncharted 4.
An excellent choice. Now drink drive in it.
Time well spent indeed!
Holy WHAT IN THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED?!
Just had a "once in a lifetime videogame moment..."
Pretty drunk so I don't know if I'll be coherent enough to describe it.
Played the first career race in Dirt Rally in a throwback Mini-Cooper Rally through the Grecian country-side. I was 4 races in, in a 4 race rally when my car flipped at the beginning of the race... and knocked out my headlights... AT NIGHT.
I had to race, downhill, in the DARK with only my co-driver to guide me...
I placed THIRD overall...
...WHILE DRUNK!
LET'S SEE A FRICKIN' --BABY-- DO THAT!!
WOO!! DRUNK DRIVIN' LEO!!
THANKS CO-DRIVER ! ! ! I'll Left 4 SIXTY INTO YOUR DIP WITHOUT CUTTING ANY-TIME ! ! !
BEST RACING GAME EVER ! ! ! ! !
Odd timing, I just bought some cheapo driving wheel and have been trying out some racing stuff on the old steam library, among them Grid 2 and Dirt 3, and was thinking of picking Dirt Rally up.
It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good ! ! !
It's pure Rally Racing though!! Arcade racing this is NOT ! ! !
For some reason, the voice-overs in the Tutorial movies remind me of Foolz...!? <3
Yeah I noticed that with Dirt 3. I had never played a Dirt game before, so I jumped into a race right away and proceeded to destroy everyone. Surprised by my own driving prowess, I started tinkering about with menu options including visuals and controls, when I got to the difficulty bit, I found out (to my dismay) that I had been driving in casual mode, which basically brakes and takes corners for you so I had only been hitting the gas all race and the game did everything else. With my ego bruised and my gaming cred at stake, I immediately turned all assists off and proceeded...to spin and crash at every single curve. I'm going to look for some tutorials on drifting tonight, because this thing is really demanding.
Do you get a Foolz co-pilot? I'd pay real money for that DLC.
Dirt 3 is six years old now... If you find you get into it, try out Rally... It truly is the BEST rally-racing game I've EVER played... and I started with serious rally games back with WRC on PS2!
Sadly, no. Although I think a Foolz co-driver would probably direct you right off the nearest cliff just for shits and giggles, so it's probably for the best.
Instead, you get a proper British gentleman.
Why is everyone playing dirt. Yesterday steel and someone else was playing dirt on steam, now Leo is playing dirt. I didn't even know about dirt now I see it everywhere.
Now dirt is in the gaf oculus thread, people are trying to get it to run on VR. When did Dirt become the most popular game?
Dirt 3 is arcade, though.
Nevertheless, the principles explained in this video are still applicable. Should make things a lot easier.
Have you played Richard Burns Rally? I couldn't get the force feedback to work properly so haven't given it a proper go, but I could barely stay on the road at legal speeds lol. Legal speeds, which felt faster than most racing games...
No one cares about the Zelda news? Voice acting, female character choice etc?
