I don't know, the gif's just don't do much for me... Now what really would sell this movie to me is if they had like a stormtrooper or someone slowly walk a few feet around some jeep-like vehicle in a cave or hangar or something.
Started Enslaved yesterday. Played about an hour and a half of it on my tv, streaming it through a Steam Link from my desktop PC.
And when I say 'played', I mean this in the most eufemistic sense of the word. First Steam had to update. Then the Link needed to update. Then it needed to install said update. Once I finally got to play the game, I noticed some really strange effect on the skin of the main protagonists, best described as a cross between messed up self-shadowing and trilinear filtering. Managed to get rid of it just by messing with some graphics settings. A little bit onwards, the ground suddenly disappeared. meddled with some graphics settings untill it reappeared. After a few more minutes, the visual signal seemed to drop in and out before just outright disappearing, leading to me jolting back and forth between the living and my desk to see what exactly was the problem. In the end just unplugging the Link, plugging it back in and turning it on again did the trick.
After all of that I managed to get a good 45 minutes of gameplay in without any further interruptions. Couch gaming yes, console gaming, this is not.
The game itself so far is pretty meh. I haven't played any PoP games, or Uncharteds, but if they're anything like this then I am not impressed. Traversal consists of pressing the analogue stick in the direction of the next clearly marked ledge and tapping A. Very linear with as little interaction as possible. There is also near to zero platforming. Sure, you'll jump over a gap now and then, but it's impossible to fall down. If you run at it at full speed, the character will just stop at the edge if you fail to press the A button in time for the jump. I'd have much preferred a form of auto-jump as seen in Zelda games to this.
I think what would really sell it would be if a stormtrooper jumped off a tower and used a grappling hook to swing down on an enemy and deliver a mighty punch from above... THAT WOULD BE FRICKIN' AWESOME and would cement Rogue One as THE genre-defining --BEST-- action movie OF ALL TIME ! ! !
Sadly, I just don't think its possible to pull off something THAT bad-ass in a movie scene, in gif form or otherwise...
OMG the dog.
lol, if only.
FFXV!!!!! This world is beautiful!!!!!

This should be in a cave.
That's certainly impressive. Since this game plays like KH I'm interested.
Final Fantasy XV looks amazing, can't wait.
They also have that survival game, Fortnite, in the works as well.
Epic no longer owns the Gears of War franchise now, Microsoft does.
Don't even get me started on those FF gifs.
On how absolutely mindblowingly stunning they are.
Have you seen those Final Fantasy XV gifs yet? Freakin' amazing!
Nintendo? Sale? Hang folks, it's the end of the world.
Capcom 'underestimated popularity of single-player features'
Idiots. Its not brain science...when you have something that was designed as an isolated, solitary experience and that's what made it popular in the first place you don't go and try to change it into something else completely different. Ubisoft need to learn this as well.
Not as colorful as Xenoblade 2. Its all about the use of colors Vader.
I'm interested in playing this game...been waiting for a sale on it as $20 for this old game seems a bit much.
What is your rig? The game was designed around 7 year old gpu's and a dual core cpu, and I'm pretty sure its not a windows 7 game but I could be wrong. You may have better luck running it in compatibility mode for Vista, or XP. Worth a try.
I'm 100% serious when I ask this: You are talking about Street Fighter, right? Since day one, the biggest draw of Street Fighter was ONE on ONE fighting, not One vs CPU fighting... I just don't understand where this complete and utter paradigm shift came from...
