Digital Foundry - Nintendo 3DS vs New 3DS
It tells us that the initial launch hardware was unbalanced, that the GPU was left severely under-utilised, owing to a severe lack of CPU resourceseurogamer.net gamingeek
That Eurogamer article is the best at explaining the Gamergate and Nintendo thing today.
So the lady in question had a second job she was doing anonomously and someone found out and told Nintendo. She says moonlighting is accepted but they didn't like what she was doing. Apparently she also did some photoshoot that was soon to released, I don't know if it was racy stuff or not. But also apparently she did some dissertation at defended the sexualisation of Children in Japanese media and someone plastered it all over the internet or something and misrepresented her views. Or people misinterpreted it and just bombarded Nintendo will messages to fire her or something.
I'm getting depressed at anime prices myself. A two disc bluray set of 13 episodes cost as much as a game these days. So for instance a 26 episode series costs as much as two games. I'm having request them as birthday and Christmas presents, something traditionally used for games.
So cigars, booze and food, loans too. That's depressing.
What about hobbie wise?
What on earth is depressing about enjoying a fine cigar or good glass of whiskey. It's awesome. Indulge yourself a little. Give me a good cigar and a glass of dark rum and I've got a near perfect hour of life.
Bored here, so what do you guys spend the most amount of money on outside of gaming?
Don't include your house, rent or car etc.
If it's like baby clothes or something, what about in hobby terms?
People will buy into it, Apple has started this.
It will become the norm. To me it's like the New Nintendo 3DS, pointless, but pisses me off anyway even though I don't want to play any of its exclusive games or use any of its new features.
Probably the most money I spend is on travelling, followed by music related things like vinyl records and also synthesizers/drum machines etc, and then games and gaming hardware.
Never understood the fascination with cigars. I hated it whenever I got to try it. Then people used to tell me it was because I never smoked a good one. Until I did when my best friend at university bought a box of expensive Cuban of which I was given one. Still hated it. Made my mouth dry, hated the taste and got no joy from it whatsoever. Just not for me I guess.
I can understand indulging though. I can appreciate a fine malt whisky etc. When it comes to food the things I love the most would most often be classified as peasant food. Also the best food I eat nowadays is usually coming out of my kitchen so it costs me a lot less than eating out would.

For me cigars are almost a purely aromatic experience. I puff on one just enough to keep it from going out. Certainly not for everyone but I think there's a trick to smoking them to really enjoy them. Took me a while to learn, but even now I don't smoke one more than once every few months.
I'm right there with you on the "peasant" food. My crock pot/slow cooker is my best friend in the world. Start it in the morning, by the afternoon the house smells great, and by dinner you have something awesome to eat.
I tried a cigarette once, choked and sputtered on it. Then the friend who gave me a puff accidentally burned it on my hand like a douche. Shocked me away from them as a kid.
I also enjoy a cigar once in a blue moon. I'm not a connoisseur, though, not even what you'd call an aficionado. Only stuff I've tried are some Cohiba and Partagas, although there are a number of quality domestic ones.
I spend some money in movie theater visits (along my whole family) and BluRays, mostly animated movies with rewatch potential for someone in the household. Recently I have picked up stuff such as Inside Out and The Dark Knight Returns animated (which I wanted to buy but for some reason or other I didn't until now). I'm going to buy Spirited Away and When Marnie Was There today or tomorrow. I am looking into importing anime but there are only a few that would justify the expense. Probably only FMA for the time being.

When Marnie was there isn't out here. Didn't see a lot of buzz behind it.
Cable TV with DVR costs a bit too much...

Other than that, clothes strangely.
Yeah this mounts up. Here you pay for Sky/VirginTV service plus phone line rental and a ISP monthly price too. plus extra for HD.
Saw this on GAF.
Final Fantasy XV: Signs of downgrades from the Platinum Demo
I don't really care or know what's up. Just geometry?

You know they should just make upgradable consoles with slots for more memory, cpus, second graphics cards.
Original users just buy a cheaper booster pack instead a whole new console. Kinda like GC and N64 had all those hardware slots
Anyhow,Nintendo shareholder meeting just started, no NX news Kimishima says.

People have come to see the gif of the batmobile changing into the batwing.

A joint and a good German beer or craft Craft Chicago beer some good ones here.
Also manga, but they are for my daughter.
