Oh quiet you. I said earlier in that post that the environments are the only thing equal, XCX has a gorgeous world. But so does FFXV and FFXV is way way way more varied.
GG watch that FFXV trailer, nothing except a few open wildlife environments in XCX compares.
Perhaps you shouldn't be comparing these two games, neither of which you have played.

All I'm saying is that if anyone is excited about a transforming vehicle in a game where you can soar about an open world environment with huge monsters, perhaps look to a game already released which you can play right now.

That's probably true, the story portion of XCX is shorter than XB Wii and there is a lot of fetch quest stuff you'll probably hate. Game is more about exploring and slaugtering things. BTW, I was just remembering that Indiana Jones Wii game. I think you were the only other person who played it. That game was hilarious.
I need more games like that or Disaster Day of Crisis. Why hasn't that been put on the VC for Americans yet? Seems out of whack.

It will start simple but as people buy in all the lines will be blurred and soon it will be ok for exclusive games for the new version only. Soon the generation lines won't matter and you will buy a new system every 3 years.

It will become the norm. To me it's like the New Nintendo 3DS, pointless, but pisses me off anyway even though I don't want to play any of its exclusive games or use any of its new features.
What qualifies as big news? Platform announcements right.
New game announcements I'm finding tricky, I post a lot of new game announcements but if I marked them all black it would look weird. I think sequels in big franchises or a famous developers next game counts.
What about B-level stuff or separate from that indie stuff?

Apple was immediately on my mind as well. Why would the Playstation brand die out if they don't offer anything over gaming PC's? As long as there's brand awareness, dedicated game consoles can stick around. What's the distinguishing factor between an android phone or an Iphone? Apple's brand name and OS. I don't see why the same couldn't ring true for gaming PC's and dedicated games consoles.
