You never played Shenmue? Well its not going to impress you today....I loved the game but back then things were very different....it had a very short period of time where it was so revolutionary that you could overlook its glaring flaws. Then, GTA3 showed up.
Well if they do all this, then there's no point in having a hardware platform at all....there would be no more XBOX console, just an XBOX LIVE online service. And personally, I don't see the point in them just having an online service when there are others as good or better. To me, this plan would lead to irrelevancy for both their hardware AND service. Unless they offered way superior deals to Steam and PSN/NintendOS in terms of purchases. And I doubt that greatly.
Damn, that System Shock "remaster" footage looks awesome! That's way more of a remake than just a remaster, it looks completely redone. Turok was a remaster....this is way beyond that.
And those Luigi's Manstion NX rumors....that sounds great. If that's the case its more likely a day 1 purchase from me....though I question the smarts of having Luigi YET AGAIN as a console launch title in place of a Mario game. Especially if they don't port Zelda to the NX. This is exactly what they did with Gamecube and everybody whined that they wanted MARIO. And the rest of the crowd whined that they wanted a more mature launch title to compete with Halo.
