I still say that Kameo, Perfect Dark Zero, Banjo Nuts & Bolts, and Viva Piñata were all very good games that were on par with any other game they've ever made.

To each his own, but I feel the general concensus is they weren't.

I like all these games. But to me they weren't instant classics like their N64 titles. I'd also put Star Fox Adventures as their one and only Gamecube title ahead of these slightly.

The fact that hardly anyone talks about their Microsoft offerings is proof enough. People still talk about Donkey Kong Country, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, and Conker to this day. Nobody talks about their Xbox offerings. At best they are seeing as having a cult fanbase just like Star Fox Adventures and Blast Corps do.

No, both are perfect for their unique style.  Part 1 for its Asian influences and part 2 for its Western influences,

I felt that Volume 2 was underwhelming not due to it being more Western rather than Asian, but due to the tone and the protagnaist being so different. Volume 1 had a very upbeat tone while the heroine was seen as very competent and badass. In contrast, Volume 2 had the heroine seem very helpless to the point where she was a damsel in distress and was very dark. I stil can't believe they were meant to be the same film. I am excited for Kill Bill 2 though and am still waiting for "The Whole Bloody Affair" to come out on Blu-Ray.

No.  Kill Bill Vol1 is perfect for it's an homage to old school kung-fu flicks done right.  Vol 2 suddenly had to become a Tarantino film and include endless long pieces of inconsequential boring dialogue ... just because.  And it's much much worse because of it.

If you don't like Tarantino's talking segment then don't watch Hateful Eight. Too bad because Tarantino talking segments are the best segments. Also, what country are you from? I don't recognize your flag.

It's not that I don't like Tarantino's dialogue's/monologues, I mostly love them.  I just felt that they were very forced in Kill Bill Vol. 2, as though they just had to be in there otherwise there wouldn't be enough hallmarks to make it a Tarantino film.  I thought Vol. 1 was much much better for being a straight up homage to 70ies kung-fu revenge flicks and particularly Game of Death.

I'm in Cyprus.  It's in the eastern Medditerranean sort of near Turkey, Syria and Israel.  It's quite possibly the nastiest flag of any country ever.  Here's a bigger version of it.

Got the new Megadeth yesterday, for the metal fans here. Its really good, I'd say the best one since 2007's United Abominations. Definitely the best production on any Megadeth album ever, very chunky guitar tone and heavy thumping drums. Having Chris Adler from Lamb of God on drums makes a huge difference. It still amazes me how these guys and many of the other bands that came out of the 80's pretty much abandoned their heavier style throughout the entire 90's but have gone back to it over the last 10 or so years.

Sucks because it would have been nice getting albums like this when they were still younger in the 90's.

Today was the wedding of a friend of mine. The brides dad works for the Heat and Pat Riley was at the wedding. Got to hang out with him, was dancing next to him on the dance floor. So awesome.

That Ubisoft story about the guy who quit. You know what might help? This is going to sound crazy and all, but how about not making a new Assassin's Creed every year since 2009? Then maybe it wouldn't take 10 studios to work on it.
