Same here. Wish I had a decent PC to get these indie games without needing a whole new console.
Not currently but it might later if they decide to according to Miyamoto but they are cutting it close if it's due out December.
It not only supports controllers, but even sterering wheels (albeit not very well), unlike the console versions.
But it has uPlay.
becasue of my exp with Splatoon I am convinced that the future for Nintendo is providing a friendly online experience based on pure gameplay. It's something no other ecosystem provides. So for me, a sterile single-player space sim has no appeal unless it is augmented with an online exp.
There's only two things that disappointed me about this year's E3 show.
Really I was thinking about it and its depressing how many of the big games are for next year. Granted, I have too much to play already so I shouldn't complain. But still. Anyway, no doubt 2016 is going to be absolutely amazing.
I haven't been paying much attention to E3, but it seems as if MS is trying to leverage it's Xbox brand to combat Steam. Anyone think this will work out well for MS? I think it might very well backfire on them, with PC games eating into home console sales of SW and HW, and no way they'll convince those pompeous PC gamers to give anything they offer a fair chance.
I don't uderstand what has happened to e3, the actual show floor. It seems no one has demos. Nintendo does and some of the multiplayer games do but there seems to be no interestsimg stage demos or anything. Before I remember the websites having all kinds of live demos on their live shows, now they get a dev talking while a clip of the trailer plays. Why even have the show part of e3 then?
I've never seen Starfox referred to as a sterile space sim before. Did you not like Starfox 64 or the SNES original?
Played some Gears of War Ultimate Edition last night, looks and plays fantastic. Played some Fallout Shelter as well, very cool little game.
Pro, Miyamoto now saying that it could come in an update or something and make it like splatoon online but they are concentrating on it being single player at the moment.
Nintendo considered Monolith Soft for Star Fox Zero
"We chose Platinum just because they are so committed to creating exciting visuals. We kind of really wanted to improve the visual quality of the game.”
Job NOT done Platinum.
Why GoldenEye is missing from the Rare Replay collection
Does anyone buy this?
The game isn't complete Nintendo games always look better by the time the game releases. Graphics are always one of the last things Nintendo polishes before the game is released.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
LOL
Well, we now know we can blame Platinum since they are handling all the graphics.
"If we started for Wii U now, it would likely take three years or so. So it would likely now be on Nintendo's NX console"
WHY THE FUCK WASN'T THIS STARTED 3 YEARS AGO?! DID THE WII U HAVE TOO MANY GAMES?!
Metroid would be the perfect franchise for that fucking overgrown controller.....so lets not make it. Or to show off the power of the console....so let's not make it. Hell it should have been the big launch game. Idiots.
This doesn't give me hope for Metroid ever being what it was back in the Prime days. This sounds like Nintendo doesn't think Retro have the guys to do it anymore.
So when would such a game be announced? And would he work with Metroid Prime developer Retro Studios again, despite the fact that many of the original staff have now moved on?
"I'm the producer of the Metroid Prime series, and [Metroid series co-creator] Yoshio Sakamoto is the one in charge of Metroid itself. I'm not sure when he's planning on making such an announcement so I can't speak for him.
"I'm not thinking about anything like that [partnering with another studio] right now. We have nothing to announce on working with any specific team."
Came to shown that wedge. No Metroid. No Metroid in development. FUUUUCK!
This also confirms wii u is dead.
