Konami has removed all the kojima production logos and "hideo kojima game" from MGSV a promo material. Kind of weird but seems like it's for real. Lying about a bunch of people being fired is crazy even for kojima.
yeah that tends to happen with me and paint-by-numbers JRPG's now you mention it.
Unrelated, I wish Blue Dragon had turned into a full franchise.
Part of me wants this to be true. Konami fucked Iga (of Castlevania fame) and they whore out Kojima no end, so I;d be cool with him leaving and Konami becoming a Winning-Eleven Soccer Game Simulator exclusively.
But at the same time, when Japanese greats leave their patron it has geneally turned into them going mobile. Which no-one would want.
Again with the Star Tropics.
My concern is Konami will whore out Metal Gear like nobody's business. Can't you see them in a board meeting figuring out how to do a MGS 6 without Kojima? They'll just figure it'll be ok to just come up with the most outlandish shit and hope it sticks. " Ok, Snake had a long lost sister, Goddess Snake, who he thought was his lover for many years. She actually had his twins, Cain and Abel, who at six years of age, are leaders of a radical group like ISIS. She's a spy trying to take over the world with Metal Gear Rico."
Isn't that actually the plot of MGS anyway?
Of course they will. Prepare for Metal Gear to go from elite status to hopefully, no worse than good filler. It happened to Resident Evil and Final Fantasy, Ninja Gaiden, Castlevania and Silent Hill. Not to mention SEGA's entire catalog. It will happen to MGS.
Hyrule Warriors is so good, and a great example of at least one strategy that Nintendo got right on the Wii U.
Instead of having outside developers work on direct sequels to Nintendo IP, like in the Gamecube days, have them instead create spinoff franchises connecting both Nintendo's games AND the developers games. Brilliant. Hyrule Warriors is a perfect example of this done right. Its a win-win situation for all involved.
For me personally, I never had any interest in Dynasty Warriors before. But after playing this game, now I want to go back and check out ALL the Warriors titles.
Hmm. Nintendo added a lot of digital games to Club Nintendo Europe. Pricing seems ok. What do VC games cost these days? You could buy eShop points with your stars, but it was at a 4 stars per cent ratio, which was ridiculous. The selection of games, again, is ok. I'm thinking of picking up the DLC for MK8 (2100stars), the Pikmin shorts on WiiU (1300) and maybe the original NES Remix (2600).
Star Tropics is godly.
Former Epic president Mike Capps makes a good point concerning VR:
"If slipping on a pair of flicker glasses, is too much trouble - then the idea of, 'Ok I'm going to put on my head mount rig and fire up my liquid cooled PC in order to make it happen' [isn't likely to take off]"
Stating the obvious of course, but I found it to be a good comparision.
I already told you...Nintendo XBOX.
OMG! Breath of Fire 6!!!
Mobile?!
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.........
Capcom continues to impress.
Of course they probably won't translate it for the West anyway so its a moot point.
That Xbox sale article doesn't seem to be based on any facts
Just the sites analyst saying that he thinks he's convinced they want to sell it? Wut?
