You want pure shit? Game of Thrones RPG.....the story is great but oh my word does the gameplay suck. I am playing on fucking EASY and keep getting stuck on certain battles because the difficulty spikes are so fucked up. And the way they designed the combat with certain guys only being vunerable to certain weapon types is idiotic. What if you don't HAVE that weapon type? Or you didn't train your guy in that category? DUMB.

I don't remember that being an issue until the very end of the game, where it utterly fucked me up. If anything I just thought the fighting was dull. Story is totally worth it though.
Hyrule Warriors surpasses 1 million units sold
I guess technically shipped, but hell that's a great milestone. That was Tecmo's goal and I think it'll just be a matter of time before it actually does a full sell-through. It's a good game people! The soundtrack and playing it as Ganon make it worth it alone.
I hope this opens the door for more 3rd parties taking the reigns of Nintendo titles. Finally get that Earthbound game made by Doublefine.
Because F-Zero GX by Sega and 3 portable Zelda games by Capcom don't count? Also, this wasn't as much a case of taking over the reigns as much as just shoehorning one franchise into another.

I know it wasn't anything new but I would argue that the scenario this time was very very different than previously.the stakes are quite different now. Nintendo has to have extra support coming from somewhere because they're not going to get traditional third-party games anymore.
It doesn't hurt that this is a complete success too. The Sega F-Zero games were good I'm sure but there's a reason that franchise is on ice. And while I didn't think Other M was that bad, it didn't hit targets and god knows people consider that game to be an unspeakable sin in the Metroid world.
Alphadream should do Earthbound.
This makes me happy too, it's a great game.
That's exactly what I first saw as well.
It starts around chapter 8, suddenly you'll run into random fights where you keep getting wiped out like 4 times in a row. Just tedious and annoying. I just finished it...almost gave up because the last few chapters were so grating. The final fight, I had to reload the game 4 times because of a glitch preventing Mors & Alester from attacking. I'd go to attack and it would just say "no ally is ko". No shit...I'm trying to attack, not to heal.
The stakes are exactly the same. Nintendo hasn't been getting 'normal' 3rd party support anymore since the days of the N64
Don't worry, man. The moment Nintendo realizes they can make a SHIT-LOAD of cash by making new Amiibos of either the F-Zero Racers --OR-- each and every Vehicle... or BOTH, they'll get on a new one immediately!

On what planet is witcher as good as sonic, wtf. Legendary platformer vs good rpg, not comparable.
I am level 41 and am in the middle of chapter 2. I regenerate full health with every swing. Nothing provides a challenge. This is not like a Nintendo game, a nintendo game wouldn't have a messed up leveling system.
That game was sweet, combat was eh but the story was great. I think that is about as good as witcher 2.
