There's no skill or strategy or puzzles or minigames involved. It's just mindless clicks on shit. Some of us (a few million) have good fun with it because we know what we're getting into beforehand. Some others will be all grumpy complaining about a game they are clearly not enjoying throughout 20+hours. Let me save you some time: Adventure more and rifting will probably do nothing for you either. All there is over there is a bunch of elites that take longer to kill than regular mobs. You have to do adventure missions in order to get rift fragments that will open rifts, which have tougher enemies and better drops. The dangling carrot here is loot, gear to wear and you're clearly not excited about it because you have never had the need for better stuff because the game offers no challenge to you. Because of the same reason, you don't bother with skill builds or class-specific gear builds either. I still remember being all giddy when I got a cindercoat for my DH. Or trying to do a HotA build barb. I feel sorry you won't enjoy the game as much as I did (I put over 200 hours into it across three toons) but not everyone can enjoy the same stuff alike.

Great post. Clearly this is not for me I guess but I love loot games that offer what I feel is good gameplay.  Destiny is way better than this even with its broken loot system. PSO one of the all time greatest games. I dont like loot games when it is tied to mindless mashing on enemies I guess,

Character customization is the most fun I am having with the game. I am always trying out new mixes of skills. Now with the loot here is another issue, is it fun to get, of course but does it really do anything bt increase numbers. In other loot games I played the weapons and armor gave you new skills. In destiny a new gun can have new ways to shoot. In PSO a new weapon, could have new combos or increase the size of your attacks. The weapons changed the gameplay. In diablo weapons do not change anything but stats, your skills are the only thing that effect the combat. I can get a gigantic sword but it attacks the same distance and range as a knife, the range is only dependant on what kind of attack I picked. So essencially gaining a new weapon just raises numbers in a menu, hard to get overly excited about that. Skills do increase but for a finite amount, it is far more thrilling to find a new weapon that gives you access to a new kind of attack every hour or so. Imagine a sword that shoots out fireballs when you swing, something like that, nope, every single weapon is the same, all tied to your characters pre set skills.

Things like that just don't do it for me. In a loot game the loot needs to matter. I remember the day I found a double bladed lightsaber in PSO, it was amazing, I can now attack like Darth Maul. There is no moment like that in Diablo 3, weapons have zero personality.

Vader, maybe you shouldn't use that weapon giving you +306 hp per hit. Maybe then you'd find a decent challenge.

That was entirely on Sega. The day they bought Atlus every big project they had that was not named Persona got delayed. Look at the Devil Survivor 2 remake. That went over a year from the announcement before we saw anything and that's just a handheld remake.

I forgot Sega bought Atlus. Not sure what to make of that.
