I just got to the segment of Hyrule Warriors where you play as Ganon and wow I feel bad. You lose the feeling that you're liberating and it changes to decimating. The chaos and destruction that unleash as Ganon makes you feel like a badass but it also makes you go, "yeah... even with the Triforce I get why everyone fears him."
Yeah, it's kind of sad. Saturday morning cartoons were big back in the day. Remember when there was a nightly special on each station to preview the cartoons for the upcoming season?
It is sad, but when I read the story it seems like they actually have not been on air for a very long time (and I had not noticed), so that is a bit sadder.
Ehhhh Saturday morning cartoons haven't been a thing for kids for about 15 years. Tough to miss them when they have been on life support for over a decade.
I do remember the Prime Time Previews for them though. Joyce Dewitt hosted one with Dick Van Dyke on year for CBS. Good times.
When I was a kid, I would wake up at 6am on Saturday morning, and watch my favorite cartoons until noon. During the commercials, and cartoons I didn't like, I'd play Atari. Good times.

I remember the Joyce DeWitt one and another with Boss Hogg and Roscoe P. Coltrane.
Just played my first Smash Bros. 3DS online match and WON my first battle against three other people! How GRATIFYING!!
Just so you know what they are doing: There's an Online mode that pits one character against another to see who is the most popular worldwide, in the Americas, Japan, Europe, etc. You pick him or her to play, you "vote" for your favorite. First one up was Mario vs. Mega Man. Mega Man is more popular in the US than he is in Japan, but overall, in every area, he is losing to Mario. I --HAD TO-- go online to play as him to give the Blue Bomber a boost! You'd be surprised how close the two of then actually are to each other, despite MM not having a new game out lately; we're talking like 48% to Mario's 52 in the US! It doesn't hurt that he's fun to play, but it's still good to see him get a great amount of recognition, in spite of the way Capcom has treated him in the last few years.
Galaxy High, Hong Kong Phooey, and Muppet Babies. Oh and Garfield and Friends. And Saturday Morning Funcade... but not the Trigger segments. Just Q*Bert, Donkey Kong, Pitfall, and Dragon's Lair.
I was playing Smash Mode, where you fight against enemies from all different Nintendo, Sonic and Mega Man series' games. I was throwing Koopas, fighting Goombas, shooting Pokemon, being stalked by the Grim Reaper from Kid Icarus when, all of the sudden, I see this moving through the ground:
...I was like: WTF is that?!

...out popped a Pooka!? I completely forgot that, not only is Pac Man in the game --BUT-- Bandai Namco helped develop it with Sora!
I swear this game has every classic monster and enemy from every game ever in it!!
That's awesome, Leo! Dig Dug will forever be a classic.
You guys remember that awful Droids cartoon staring C3PO and R2D2? I watched it every Saturday despite disliking the show just because it was Star Wars releated, lol.
I didn't see dat
It must have been a million years ago then.
But.... folders.
Steamworld is a good buy. Pushmo too.
Anyone find it weird how Epic games is teaching its staff Nintendo's hidden methods?
Pretty awesome news about Halo Collection having the exclusive PC stuff. I forgot about that shit...those are quality maps too!!
Against my better judgement I have accepted the friend request from manpretty.
Best decision you've ever made.
This Is the First Weekend in America With No Saturday Morning Cartoons

So what was everyone's fav Saturday morning cartoon? I had a fondness for Thundarr the Barbarian and Dungeons and Dragons.
I remember the Joyce DeWitt one and another with Boss Hogg and Roscoe P. Coltrane.
Looney Toons was my favorite.

The Smurfs and then Robotech.
Gotta give props to the Smurfs. Also, Gummi Bears, Space Ghost, Looney Tunes, and Mr. T.
