"moments. For instance, I was attempting to ally another species--and was doing quite well, thank you--when a giant, one-eyed bastard with duck feet came along, and stomped us all to death. It sucked, but was still funny. I also saw a giant yellow dodo bird just walking around in the distance. Using my newly evolved sneak ability, I was able to get quite close to it without being spotted. That was until I accidentally ran into it. One simply does not out run an angry giant dodo bird.
Graphically, I am able to run the game at mostly high settings now, though. Turning the shadows down to Low allows me to run every other setting on High with a fairly decent framerate. Not ideal, but certainly playable.
Anyone ever reach a point with an illness or injury where you COMPLETELY --FREAK-- teh FUCK OUT ? ! ? While waiting for a reputable doctor to become available, what started as stiffness, discomfort and occasional pain became a tight, sleep-disrupting, "chore-to-put-a-shirt-on-in-the-morning-without-feeling-like-I'm-ripping-every-muscle-in-my-shoulder" kind of pain. Whenever I roll over in bed at night I feel popping and tearing and I am immediately jarred awake. This all started JANUARY 28th ! ! ! This has been going on for over a month ! ! ! Best of all, the last few nights have all had near panic-inducing " I WANT THIS OVER RIGHT NOW ! ! ! " moments, followed by some deep breathing, lots of teeth-grinding and late-night, early morning pop-ins to the site to see if anyone is on or has anything interesting to say...
Why am I bringing this up here? If it wasn't for Tales of Xillia, Bravely Default and Lightning Returns occupying MUCH of my waking hours, I don't think my sanity would be intact right about now...

Yep, experienced crazy health problems earlier this year. Lotta fear, irrationalizations, CT scan, ultrasound, antibiotics, only to have the problem seemingly work itself out.
Yeah. Irrationalizations. Perfect word. I went from: "Ha! I'm fine!" to "Hmmm... maybe not..." to "Shit what was I thinking?" to "FUUUUCCCCKKKK. OVER. NOW ! ! ! N-O-W ! ! !"
It's not even like I'm the macho-type. I have every excuse to be a wimpy, big wuss, straight up bastard if I would let myself be... but nope! I just grin and bear it to the point where I'll permanently injure myself, rather than make a fuss. WTF?

Sorry to hear Leo, I have had my issues with illness the last few years and it SUCKS! Diabetes is an awful disease and I would not wish it on my worst enemy. This last Halloween I got very sick and was in the hospital for 7 days including 3 days in ICU I almost died, had breathing and feeding tube in. So I know what your going through, I have other health issues I have had for years, major neck surgery and back surgery over the last 15 years, most days I feel lucky to wake up. So just remember brother it could be worse, and it will get better. Good luck and keep us informed on whats happening.
