Rumor is that when you stack them like this, it creates a magnetic field that actually prevents the PS4 from wobbling.
Yes, the XO is boring as fuck. Wii U at least looks like a better version of the Wii.
I beg to differ. The Wii was a very pure concept, design wise, where it could either be purely functional and minimalistic (placed horizontally), or more of an eyecatcher (place at an angle in the stand). The placement of buttons was logical, with the less frequently used hidden from sight. The WiiU however is just a bloated rectangle. And to illustrate my point, I would like to refer to the horrible red sync button, of which Nintendo couldn't even be arsed to put it behind the SD card cover, as they did with the Wii.
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag U version continues to impress me

Comparison of just how much better Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag's texture work is over Assassin's Creed III

Hamster, don't give up on Zombi U. It's not a hard game, you will die in the first few encounters just because you have no combat experience and you're going in cold without knowing how the gameplay systems work. Once I was into the groove I lasted for hours and hours without dying, in fact the game cheated me into death at one point forcing me off a ledge in one room.
Just remember to push fools back with the cricket bat then whack. Also use choke points, allyways, doorwards etc to filter zombies through one at a time. It sounds complicated but it's really simple.
Also master the quick 180 turn and run move that will save you virtually all the time. And with the crossbow you can silently down enemies at a distance.
Don't try and take on more than 3 Zombies at once unless you have grenades and molotovs. And remember to store excess ammo and weapons in the storage box in the safehouse. I used the cricket bat 90% of the time and had so much ammo left over at the end I wish I had played more fast and loose with the guns.
Also it looks way better than a Wii game, although it had a small-ish team and budget - with the devs saying graphics were not a priority. I think the assets and textures are pretty low res but the lighting and atmosphere make up for it. In no way would I call it an ugly game, it's just not superlative in any way.
Another day in the Remote Play PS4 thread and yet another round of it does/doesn't work.

I was playing Knack and the Vita kept skipping frames.
I can't work out if this is sarcasm. Ryse is bombing, Dead Rising 3 is 7/10, Forza is good for anyone who wants a 5th Forza game. Titanfall is not out and is multiplayer only? Kinect Sports? The rest are multiplatform games that would have come out for any MS or Sony system regardless.
I can't unsee it, PS4 is listing to the side.
With less power draw, a much larger case, and seemingly huge heatsink/fan, XBO runs hotter than PS4
Bias!
Quantum Break
I don't really know that much about Geoff Keighley, but the world seems to love it when he flubs something or is the victim of technical difficulties. This is from the Xbox One launch last night. I don't know exactly what's going on in the picture, but people seem to be having a good laugh over this. Anyone know the details?
Fucking hell.
Checked out some direct grabs of Mario 3D World on GAF.
I wont post them because I know you guys hate spoilers but fuck me. Next gen mario or what. Fuck. The lighting, the detail, the brickwork. Dat depth of field effect. The bowser lava levels look great. And they've added little textures on flat surfaces and patterns. Oh shit, is that a forest level? The water on one of the levels looks incredible.
Fuuu, Killzone Shadowfall looks awesome too.

This is an in game look at how this character model looks. Ggames always shows a different HQ model in released shots.
Fuuuck, saw more mario screens, the art. Looks sooo good. Perfectly rounded.

GG are you done masturbating to the graphics pics yet?
No sarcasm GG, Xbox has a ton of good stuff like fable, project spark, that insomniac game, quantum break.
From Gareth Newnham's fun article at LL about the launch lineups, it appears Xbox One has a better lineup than PS4 at least.
