Yep I do have a daughter. Technically stepdaughter(s). This one doesn't get talked about much because she's a teenager and for the past few years has stayed locked in her room wanting nothing to do with anyone in her family. Plus her only gaming interest is Pokemon, so there's not much to talk about on that front.
It does seem like a good idea at first, and there's a few good perks like making your own schedule, but Vader is right. You don't get any social interaction with friends and after a while it sucks. Hopefully this will just be for the remainder of the semester and at the start of next year she'll be back at her school.
Florida is interesting when it comes to Virual School. They've actually got one of the better VS programs in the country (Florida doing something right regarding education is damn near unheard of), and kids can opt to take as many virtual classes as they want. It's cool for when they want a class that their school doesn't offer. You can even take Virtual Classes at the school for whatever sense that makes. Then again that's just how Florida works.

The Wonderful 101 keeps on getting better and better. It's --EASILY-- the best game on the Wii U at the moment, and arguably Kamiya's best work yet! The sheer and utter enjoyability of it, the gameplay mechanics... Everything is top-notch. It's a shame how it is being ignored due to half-broken games like GTA and pushed aside by somewhat bigger names like Rayman.
I have all the Heroes now (not all 101+) just the main 6, and I must say, the game grows and grows, adding layer upon layer of mechanic after mechanic, but it --NEVER-- gets to be unruly! If you have more than the attention span of a flea and have been gaming on devices prior to an iPod, you can totally play the --HELL-- out of this game!

Wonder Black. HE is the one and only minor, teeny-tiniest gripe I have with the game. He is from New Delhi, India... Yeah. Sure he is. Completely black overalls with no shirt underneath, sports-team baseball cap, dreads complete with beads, finger pointing while nearly doing a crotch grab... Ummm... His intro sequence when you first get him has him... breakdancing... It's actually embarassing. To recitfy this, Platinum made his country of origin, India, but its sooo obvious he's not supposed to be Indian. The one and only thing that suggests he is Indian is a Bindi on his forehead... This almost makes it worse. Totally stereotypical character, but throw a Bindi on his head and we'll throw everyone off! Yeah. No.
I would resent him a bit more if his gameplay mechanic wasn't soooooooo damn fun. He throws Bombs which slow time, a-la Viewtiful Joe. He adds soooo much to the game and gameplay, you can't help but love him in spite of it all!

Despite this quirk, The Wonderful 101 has quickly earned its way into the Pantheon of some of my Favorite games EVER, and I am saddened and disappointed no one else here is sharing my enthusiasm for this game here yet. I know it was poor planning, timing and advertising on Nintendo's part, bringing this game here when they did, but, truly, this is a game NO ONE should pass up! Please, give it a try!

Really not a great idea. Did you read the story I posted? Over at IGN, they are trying to do a Review, but the 20-something level character they had was completely lost. They are recommending to NOT play at this time. I can only imagine what this is going to do to their review, but for them to outright say this problem even exists on a game the scale of GTA, you know the issues have to be pretty bad right now.

Totally forgot to mention this before. Wonder Black's Unite Morph enables him to toss Bombs. The area where you get him is a strange continent with a huge, active volcano on it. It has overgrown grass you need to cut with your sword to find enemies and items and there's quite a few puzzles that need to be solved in its dungeon-like environment. The name of the land is Lowrule.
