Finally HD pikmin 3 shots, ground texture inspection time

Had to trek back from the first Blighttown bonfire to the asylum. I got the rusted ring and figured I'd clear up the area before moving on. The Elite Knight gave me some trouble, but I killed him; what I didn't remember was the black knights being such a pain in the ass, must be the cramped corridors they're in.

This is looking very cool. Can only imagine if all multiplatform, games used the U pad like this and packed in bonuses. Still, it's an old game and there's so much new stuff to get between now and spring. Says the man looking forward to Wind Waker. Doh.

I tried valiantly fighting the black knight with my uchikatana ... I came close a couple of times but it was taking too long and was losing my discipline and concentration and he kept getting me every time.  After dying a dozen times or so I thought to myself, hmm why don't I try this pyromancy thingimajick i've been working on.  Four fire orbs later he was up in smoke.  I am awesome.

Playing the Deluxe version on my PC, it's quite fun. Lots of missions on an open world style map where you choose how to progress, including coop and multiplayer incorperated  into the game. It's really well done and the missions are fun with a number of ways to complete them.
