It's interesting watching Yoda play Crysis. It's also interesting to see how much better his version looks than my PS3 version.
What are you talking about? And look at how much trouble he has aiming without dual analogue control as well.
The stream looks much better now Yoda. Big difference.
Yoda should play this game with a 360 pad.
But you have PS3 version. When did the 360 get into this?!

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileI like it. Smart move, nice price. I'll probably get one just to haev another thing that plays my beloved DS carts.
They should have called it the 3DS2
I'm tempted by the 2DS. If the European price is right, I might end up owning one. Although I'll be wanting to go hands on with the thing first though. Like I've stated before: I haven't been into handheld gaming for at least 5 years. Spending abour €200 on a handheld I might not end up using a lot is just too much for me.
One niggle though: the distance between the 2 screens is different from that in previous 3DS models. I know that on the DS, the 2 screens would sometimes be used as 1 vertical one. With the smaller gap between screens, it'd be as if everything that travels from one screen to the other would suffer a delay. Not sure if 3DS games still do this, but it's a dumb move on Nintendo's behalf to change the distance between the 2 screens.
Yeah, it doesn;t come up much, but in a game like The World Ends With You that would blow.
Usually with DS games though one or the other screens are essentially ignored and only used occasionally.
I would not know where to start.
I guess by library is the way to go.
PS3/360/Wii Tied for first (maybe)?
PS2/ N64/ DC Tied for second
GC, XB Tied for third.
Wow. That is the shittiest list ever assembled. Right there. I'll probably end up on Reddit for that.
Ocarina 3DS question:
Does it have save anywhere feature? I am thnking of finally beating Ocarina, and a save states mode for portable would be very useful.

Holy shit. Has it come to this?
It's so people have 3 weeks to examine their finances and start looking at the lineup.
Personally I wish the 3DS just had one big, 3D touchscreen and lost DS backwards compat. Also a higher 3D megapixel camera, I seriously would use the thing as a 3D camera and they could have sold it as one too. The pics you take look like ASS. But if you download some HQ 3D photos from the internet and view them on 3DS you can see the screen quality is actually very high and makes you wish the cameras were better.
There's a resolution mismatch playing DS games on 3DS, games look a bit blurrier. I would just get a new DS Lite.
You can save anywhere but it doesn't create a save state in the way you're thinking. Say you are in the middle of a dungeon and you save, it saves all your items, all the rooms you've unlocked, your map progress, keys etc, but the next time you start will be at the start of the dungeon and you just have to walk back through already beaten rooms to get to the point where you were - like every other Zelda game. I always say that you should do a Zelda dungeon in one sitting or you'll forget what you've done and lose your bearings - so make sure you have a couple of hours before entering. For any other part of the non-dungeon world saving anywhere is fine.
It's a pretty great version, graphically improved it looks like a Dreamcast game in some ways in 3D and the touch screen and gyro use is actually very, very useful with your items and might make you appreciate Wii U more.
Screw Wind Waker Nintendo will also release a limited edition LEGO City Undercover Premium Pack on October 18th.
I think I'm going to buy the rerelease of WW just for that Ganon statue. I mean, I need to start hoarding game related crap for when the attic is finally done and I have my own game den.
Hmm. Will have to think about it then
+1 GG.
So without the division it would be a huge tablet?
I want it but its expensive. But then the regular version is listed at £45 when games like W101 and Pikmin 3 are £35. WTF is going on? Rip off!
I wonder if the 2DS has the same chipset as the 3DS. If so, it's a huge waste of potential, as it only ever has to render +/-60% of the pixels the 3DS has to be able to cope with.
Maybe, maybe not. I'd say the saving is just in the screen filter on the top screen with the same chips (which they'd be buying at volume as opposed to getting a custom chipset for the 2DS).
Yeah, I'm thinking it'll be exactly the same chip. Still, it's kind of a shame to not be able to utilize that extra power, at all.
360 pad works with many PC games. Dual analogue > Mouse/Keyboard.
