Yes and no. Prime 3 doesn't demand much of you in FPS terms with the lock on and camera lock. When it comes to Wii IR FPS controls there are two aspects, movement controls and finer aim down sights control. MOHH2 movement controls are pretty decent with tweaking but the ADS and enhanced controls with leaning and scopes is superb. I prefer shooters with full camera lock, though this can restrict your movement either rooted to the spot or strafing. COD blops controls are probably the best combined controls, as all you had to do was tweak the turn speed. The ADS is pretty superb there but the game is crud. Red Steel 2 got aiming help from Retro studios and there is a subtle but noticeable aiming assist and cursor smoothing. Conduit had very good movement and aiming but lacked the enhanced MOHH2 moves and the natural accuracy of BLOPS. I don't mention Goldeneye because although it's probably the best FPS of the generation to me (love the Bond world and stealth action mix and nostalgia) - the controls are just decent. The camera lock only worked in a small invisible rectangle in the middle of the screen and the aiming was slightly chaotic with the movement and action. It adds to the gameplay, scrambling about the level as your cover is destroyed but the controls are shown up somewhat on the last level when you have to defend a control room in chaos.

Not after I turned them off. Nyaa (If I remember correctly.)

Because of the controls BLOPS almost sounds more appealing than GoldenEye...

Killzone Mercenary Beta on Vita is amazing!! I cannot believe I am getting console quality online multiplayer on a handheld. The game is a blast, you get all sorts of crazy gadgets like a flying mantis robot that stabs peoples heads. You get a shoulder mounted rocket launcher where you tap the screen and send a ton of rockets at enemies. You get to control a sky bot that rains down a laser pillar of death on enemies.

Wow, this maybe the first time I am really impressed by the Vita.

I don't want to play home console games on handheld consoles (though I do want to play handheld console games on home consoles).

But it's Killzone, so obviously I would make an exception. Nyaa

Splinter Cell Blacklist graphics comparison

  • Wii U load times were (much) longer - other platforms have partial HDD install
  • PlayStation 3 textures were slightly more detailed
  • Wii U version has superior performance - no screen tearing and texture resolution almost on par with the PlayStation 3

Overall better experience was on the Wii U. PlayStation 3 was lead sku. Wii U only platform with solid 30fps gameplay but drops frames in cutscenes. Other platforms have rampant ugly screen tearing during cutscenes. "Supposed" day 1 patch fixes Wii U cutscene frame drops.

I hear it's much better than the first which was ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Difficulty spikes and horrendous last level, even underwhelming visuals and design.

Holy dickballs all out of a sudden an asshole of a tropical storm formed right in front of my door and poured all the water in the universe over my city. It rained like hell yesterday, fortunately I never lost power or internet. Lost of neighborhoods over here are flooded, though.

Thanks Leo. We're fine, fortunately. Worst part last night was that since the rain comes horizontally because of the force of the winds, sometimes it leaks through the windows. It might keep raining for a couple days more, but hopefully it won't be as nasty as yesterday.

Smiling old dude seems to be the bishop of the city's cathedral. Apparently the water surge came so fast he had to leave church in a hurry in search for a dry spot.
