The dock is really solid, apparently ASUS were the first guys to do the transformer range and perfect it. It's better than I thought, really solid, smooth hinge and easy release. Samsung ativs have docking problems. The only problem I have is that sometimes with the keyboard the cursor will jump, which is really annoying but I hear the driver update fixes that. And tbh you will use the touchscreen a lot more than the mouse or cursor.
Opera mobile is for phones, tablets is for ipad or android, no windows 8. The default windows Opera browser is shit for touch.IMO Nintendo should have made Cing (Little Kings Story, Another Code, Hotel Dusk) Arika (Endless Ocean), Headstrong (HOTD Overkill) Climax (Silent Hill Shattered Memories) and Eurocom (Goldeneye) 2nd parties. They are small-ish independent devs who showed they can produce great work. With a little more help from Nintendo you could be looking at greater games from them. Next Level is 3d party or what? They seem to do only Nintendo stuff these days.
Eurocom could have done a decent series of FPS like Dead Space or Goldeneye.
Headstrong could have done something similar to Overkill but in a ast or 3rd person not on rails.
Arika can only get better if EO2 is anything to go by and Climax could start a new horror franchise.
I've decided I am going with either a Toyota Tacoma or a Nissan Titan for my next vehicle. Japanese trucks are the way to go.
Good choices.
At one point they had Left Field, Rareware, Retro Studios, Silicon Knights, and more.
I'm starting to warm up to the 2DS. My thought when first hearing the name and seeing it was:

. However, having looked into it more now, I actually kinda like it. Yeah, it's fugly, but it appears to be a more comfortable to hold, which is my main gripe about my 3DS XL (most uncomfortable handheld I have ever used). The 2DS also has larger shoulder buttons, which are similar to that of a console gampad. I rarely take my 3DS XL anywhere, preferring to play it at home, so its reduced portability isn't issue for me at all. I can easily live without the 3D since I rarely bother with it, and as Aspro mentioned, the smaller screens would look nicer than on my XL. I don't know if I'll buy one or not, but it isn't as bad as I first thought. Comfort > Appearance.
Another thing worth mentioning about the 2DS's design is the screen fully folded out is how my son has always played the DS and 3DS. I don't think I've ever seen him use it at that slightly tilted angle. I don't know if that's just my DNA McNugget or if all younger kids do that. Travo? Steel? What about your kids?
Reggie: Earthbound Wii U VC hasn't changed thinking
I can honestly say I can no longer tell if Reggie and company are stupid or just full of shit and don't want to release any up and coming plans. They've said themselves that they've been very happy with the reception Earthbound got. Of all the VC titles in the eShop only Super Mario World and Super Metroid (which was a $.30 title) have been reviewed more (the only real indication of purchases made), and it's still being bought/reviewed at a steady pace. There is a very clear indication that people want more Mother.
Read what Supreme said about the 2DS in his thread. Important point.
I posted this one and no one seemed to be familiar with it, but fuck it I'm doing it again since a big update has happened regarding this little event:
A video game is being made for the Mysterious Cities of Gold (though technically I think the game is based on the new series of it, that supposedly is quite good). Since the cartoon is French, they were only going to release the game in French markets. However there's enough people like me around the world that fondly remember the show and wanted it in English and various other languages. So a kickstarter is going on to fund the translation. It's only $30K so it seems reasonable, and at the $15 donation mark you get a digital copy. Seems like a no brainer. So if you remember the show and want a copy of it yourself for PC, Wii U, or 3DS go here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/438269196/mysterious-cities-of-gold-the-video-game
I have the original on my watchlist.
In Japan it's still exclusive. lawls
Yeah mine do the same thing.
I'd certainly pick up a 2DS as an Animal Crossing machine for my wife and kids. Neither of us care about 3D so achieving a lower price by means of shaving off that feature would be a good thing in my eyes.
I'm watching Total Recall (remake).
I liked that movie in a guilty pleasure kind of way. I would tie Kate Beckinsale to my headboard and do beastly things to her.
Colin Farrerl is no Ah-nold though, that's for godamn sure. He is so boring in all his movies.
It had some fun action stuff in it though, especially everytime hot leather Kate decided it was kung fu time.
Nope, alway completely open. I think the 2DS is excellent for children, especially younger ones. My son always plays in 2D because we make him, but a lot of times, the slider moves upwards as he plays. For that price point, I'd pick up a 2DS in a heartbeat if I didn't already own the 3DS.
I liked it too. The original can't be beat though.
I'd take Total Recall Sharon Stone over Kate Beckinsale. Sharon Stone seems like she would be a sexy pig in bed.
I'm kind of curious if it would still hold up today. It was a good little (globe spanning) adventure. I'd have to think it'd still be good.
