Flipping heck, did you guys check out the new Wind Waker footage in HD? It really pops, looks like a living cartoon.

Looks great and did you see how they fixed the Tri-Force fetch quest in Wind Waker HD? It might be mini dungeons on new islands but that is speculation because you now find them on land.

MS doesn't learn on some things:

Xbox One’s Game DVR, which allows users to record up to five minutes of gameplay at 720p and 30 frames per second, will be limited to Xbox LIVE Gold members, the official Xbox website reveals.

Xbox LIVE Gold will also be required for multiplayer gaming, entertainment applications, Internet Explorer, exclusive deals and offers, NFL on Xbox, OneGuide, Skype, and SmartMatch match-making (which should be a given, considering a Gold account is also required for multiplayer).

Locking some of that behind the gold door is smart for them, but putting Skype and IE behind a paywall is only hurting themselves.  That's advertising impressions and user-base numbers they will lose.

I was impressed by the Summer of Games this year. I definitely would like to play brothers. We all know what Flashback is and how incredible it could. Plus, TMNT will be perfect for me and my son. He is a Turtles fanatic ATM.

No, I got the smaller 7" Kindle which has a resolution of 1280x800p. The 8.9" model is full HD at 1920x1200, but it was $109 more expensive.

I've come to the conclusion that whatever is or isn't behind a paywall is moot even multiplayer. Everyone who has their console hooked up to the internet should subscribe to XBL Gold and PSN+ just for the free games alone. Discount deals are another bonus. Saying that any of these other features isn't behind a paywall is mostly just a nice PR gesture.

Unless you live in an area with a bandwidth cap.  It is absolutely nuts for anyone with a PS3 not to have PS+ given what you get each month.  And the online alone is worth it for 360. If you don;t have a bandwidth cap.

Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck The Walking Dead 400 Days!  I couldn't get the game to work without downloading the demo for the first five episodes ( I traded in my disc).  I have a save file, but for some reason, it's not reading it.  It will not let me save.  Fine.  I thought I'd play through it in one sitting.  Nope, once I get about halfway through, I died and when I pressed continue...blank screen. Hrm. I might play each characters little story once and call it done.  Fuck this!

Yeah having a bandwith cap can be an issue but if it's 60 GB or more per month then it shouldn't be too bad unless you're also heavily into online movies as well. Microsoft is now also giving away games for free on the 1st and 15th of every month which you can keep forever regardless of your subscription status.

60!

Try 15. That is the most I have access to. And that's $150 a month.

Looks like the Gamecube version.

No man, seriously I was watching in on the big HDTV via Wii U shop and when the camera went in close it looked pretty insane to me. Amazing how such an old game with some better colours, proper AA and better lighting looks better than most of the new games of today. It's such a shame HD hasn't been used for more than realism. Now that Nintendo is in HD, everything they do, all their cartoon characters like Animal Crossing, Mario and Zelda in HD with the effects and DOF make such a difference. It almost looks perfect, like their perfect realisation of their style.

A Miiverse friend went to Hyper in London a Japanese expo where Nintendo was demo-ing some games. He told me that Nintendo were right, after playing WW there he said the graphics just popped and felt more vivid which brought the world to life. Yesterday the best info was that you can not only sail faster but you dont have to play the flipping instrument to change direction anymore. Poor quality gifs:
