It's the boss of mr.torgue's campaign of carnage. we beat him in my friends game. as long as one of us was alive, the other could respawn and continue fighting. If I die on my own however, the badassosaurus' health regens Sad I've rained all kinds of death on it and its healthbar just doesn't seem to care. I want that vault dammit!

Oddworld dev on developing on Wii U:

Q: Do you find it at all more difficult or frustrating to port over to Wii U when compared to other systems? How much different is it getting something to run on Wii U compared to other more developmentally homogenous systems like PC or PS4?

A: Not really, as with Stranger we use OpenGL for our rendering pipeline, this is something that is available to developers of the WiiU. Also with New ‘n’ Tasty we are using Unity to build the game, something else that is available for the WiiU, so right now there isn’t really anything to get in the way for us.

Not a bad deal. The consensus is that Nintendo may just do bundles for the rest of the year and not a price cut (the Sony way apparently), so this may just as good of a time to grab one this year as any other..

A: Not really, as with Stranger we use OpenGL for our rendering pipeline, this is something that is available to developers of the WiiU. Also with New ‘n’ Tasty we are using Unity to build the game, something else that is available for the WiiU, so right now there isn’t really anything to get in the way for us.


really looking forward to play strangers wrath on the wiiU. it's one of those games I've always wanted to play one day.

I was just happy to beat some of those levels never mind A+ing them lol.

Glad you're enjoying the game, it is the best platformer this generation not named Mario Galaxy.

Pikmin 3 has some sweet visuals, especially the lighting effects. I can't believe its been 9 fucking years since the last one...I really missed this franchise. There's nothing like it, such a laid back easy going experience. I love games that are laid back and fun, yet still challenging. I think that's why I liked Xcom so much last year.

I suck so fucking badly at Pikmin. It's nice to be reminded why I never really picked up this series before.  Still I'm making progress at a snail's pace so I suppose I'm at least improving, and I am still having a good time with it. But god I'm terrible...
