They messed up my preorder for Pikmin 3. I did the whole digital preorder to get it one day early. Well, they somehow got it wrong. The good news, as the store manager told me, was that mine was the only preorder that got messed up and everyone else's was okay.  Explain to me why I would so much as give a box of dicks about other peoples' orders? Am I the fucking Pope or something? ME ME ME ME ME god dammit! So now I have to travel out of my way to go back tomorrow and get ANOTHER digital ticket. He was kind of enough to give me 10% back, so I get $6.... not really enough for anything other than a discount order of herpes. Grrrrrrr.....

It's irritating because it's not my local Gamestop. It's a bit of a drive, and the only reason I went there was because they had the Pikmin demo going on that day. I had incorrectly assumed they'd give me the digital code that day and it just wouldn't be valid until today. So this is now a third time I have to drive out there. Oh well, live and learn. But more and more the fine people at Gamestop are pissing me off this year.

The fine people of Gamestop have been pissing me off since they first appeared. The place is full of fanboys and bullshit artists that try to sway people with bullshit lies to whatever allegience they hold dear.

The PC is probably going to make the console versions look bad with all the new video cards, etc out there right now that are so far and away advanced over the current consoles. They don't want to make the 360 and PS3 owners angry and potentially hurt their sales!

True but the owners of these consoles will buy the game regardless. Half of them don't even know what PC gaming is so they would likely just assume its the 360 version pushing the old hardware to the max. I really don't want to buy either the 360 or PS3 game, then a week later have them announce the grand PC version. In fact I may have to hold off on the game awhile for this very reason.

The GamePad helps the player make tactical choices on the fly, without breaking the flow of the game or the tension of the story. At any moment and by simple touch, you can pick any of your weapons or gadgets, mark enemies & execute them, or switch from lethal to non-lethal takedowns.

NL: Is the GamePad microphone supported for online co-op and multiplayer?

LJ: Yes, the game makes use of the GamePad microphone for online co-op and multiplayer chat.

NL: What are your thoughts on dual-screen control mechanics, via the GamePad or alternatives on other systems, and their role in modern gaming experiences?

LJ: For Splinter Cell Blacklist the dual screen control mechanics are definitely a plus. For Splinter Cell Wii U, keep in mind we really didn’t have to create and “force” new gameplay to support the hardware, with the OPSAT, the gadgets, the mark & execute. The GamePad feels like a natural extension to the Splinter Cell experience.

NL: Will the Wii U receive full DLC support for Blacklist?

LJ: There will be no difference in treatment with other versions.

It will come to PC, the question is when. you maybe waiting a year or so.

It's usually 2 years or so... I can't wait that long. I'll be getting PS3 version.
