I started playing The Last Of Us yesterday, and oh man this game is badass!

I think its the best game Naughty Dog has made yet...even better than Uncharted 2 possibly, though I am pleasantly surprised at how different it is than Uncharted. I had thought it was going to basically be Uncharted with horror thrown in, but outside of the camera perspective, it really doesn't feel like Uncharted at all. More like a combination of Resident Evil 4 and Half Life 2 honestly.

I can already tell its going to be one of my all time favorites on PS3....its just so cinematic the way the characters interact and the way the story is told. The pacing is perfect, it controls great and looks amazing.

Randomly Generated Hell Awaits in Cloudberry Kingdom

I watched a developers video that these guys had made for E3 (I guess GG must have posted it), and the game looks pretty insane. However towards the end of the video they talked about the hardest difficulty level called "Masochistic" and from the footage I don't think I've ever seen a more difficult looking platformer. It was so ridiculous that they even said to each other, before we put this in the game we need to be sure that we can even defeat one of these levels. They ended up taking about 8 hours and 1,000 attempts but they were finally able to complete level.

Trying to watch all the trailers at e3, found a lot of it kinda boring - Ryse, Forza 5, Quantic Dream game, Infamous SS, Quantum break or whatever? The Order etc. I see a lot of great higher fidelity graphics but not a lot of gameplay or gameworlds that I'm actually interested in. Destiny looks great but it is re-skinned Halo with more online. Witcher 3 looks pretty great.

Yeah, I didn't even bother watching most of those trailers; just not interesting enough. Nintendo may not have had their best show ever this year, but their games at least appeared to be more fun.  Meow.

So FF15 seems to be like watching many cgi cutscenes then doing many stylish forward rolls in slow motion?
