That'd be competing with Mario 3D...then again, a beautiful Donkey Kong would be competing with Legends, so I suppose it's just wishful thinking.

They don't have to release them at the exact same time. Anyway, 1 month apart for similar style games is more than enough time. Nintendo themselves have done this before.

Heh, I think a DK 64 sequel would blow 3D World away. Maybe just personal preference but those are the types of platformers I want on the Wii U (DK 64, Mario Sunshine, Psychonauts type stuff).

People are annoyed that there are hardly any games on the Wii U. Releasing similar games isn't going to be a good luck, even months apart.

It's weird that their own headline is misleading.  Nothing in the body of the article actually suggests that they're going to implement similar restrictions, just that they changed their minds going into E3.
