I am disgusted with the Heat. Game 7, I cant believe this crap.
Well excited by Mighty Switch Force 2 details. The first one is such an awesome game. WayForward <3<3<3

That looks so kitschy and awesome!
I have absolutely no idea what it is!! Mighty Switch Force is a perfect little downloadable game on the 3DS ... with the emphasis on perfect. I wrote about it in my list of finished games from last year. If you liked your 3DS a little better I'd recommend it unreservedly.

Between Masters of Dune and Mobile Light Force we two could use a translator!!

Playing Guacamelee recently strongly reminded me of Mighty Switch Froce during certain sections and made me seriously wish for more MSF

It's a top down shooter, which makes the cover even better.
Seriously that cover is all kinds awesome and exploitative. Multi-cultural, skimpy leather-clad girls with fire-arms running on burning ground, hunted down by flying robots with laser weapons.
... For a shmup game that has nothing to do with any of the above ... save perhaps for the lazers!
Are these games on PSN? Want want want!!!

It's largely the same game isn't it? With some remixed levels or something? I'll probably try to avoid it as I annoy myself when I buy the same game more than once and it happens far to often. I also really liked how it looked on the 3DS and would probably miss the 3D. Me thinks best wait for MSF2!!!
Is this the game Aspro posted the cover of? Looks totally awesome. Kind of like a hyper twinbee (of sorts). Do. Want

No. Entirely different game, but one that I thought would catch your interest, nonetheless!
It totally did
At certain points it looks as though direction of fire is independent of the movement of your ship. Was it dual analog? Probably just one particular mode of fire having a "homing" ability.
I always wondered why those yellow rotating joysticks in the arcades used for such greats as Ikari Warriors and Midnight Resistance never caught on. They were totally awesome.

They were great, but they were around before the advent of analog, so they kind of became obsolete.
Pssst Bugsie...
Look up!
JOO ... IZ ... like ... AWWWWWWWSOOOOOME!!!!!
like ... TOTALLY!

Just wanted to call some attention to a VERY cool little game that was just released on XBLA. It's called CastleStorm and it just does sooo many things right, it's a very worthy download! It has elements of Angry Birds as you have a Ballista that can fend off invading armies from afar. You --also-- have troops to command like an RTS (Archers, Knights, Soldiers)... You --ALSO-- have a Hero you can DIRECTLY control on the Battlefield who can wield a Sword and a Bow! It has elements of those games, but also you can build your Castle (reminiscent of Rampart)... There's so many things going on, it's hard to describe it all, so I'll just post the video and say I recommend it very highly!
It reminds of that Wiiware game Swords and Soldiers or something like that

Somewhat similar in the RTS elements, but in CastleStorm you actually get to control the Hero character... Not at all times, mind you; you choose when you want to send him onto the battlefield. You actively switch between the Ballista and sending out troops WHILE defending your castle WHILE destroying your enemy's. It appears there are big bosses to fight as well --and-- every mission has multiple and Bonus objectives. You earn gold to upgrade Ballista ammo, troops and equipment among other things. You get extra gold for completing Bonus objectives and getting Head Shots in battle. You earn Stars based on your performance. Stars open up more and more missions. There are mini-games, Survival Modes, there's co-op and multiplayer modes. There's soooo many ways to play and so much to do; you REALLY get your money's worth out of this one!
PS: It's only 800 MS Points!
