My thoughts on the used game thing on xbone:
The purpose of it is not to create a balanced used game market, it is simply to kill it. If you shoot someone in the head or slowly suffocate them they both die eventually. MS is choosing to slowly choke the used game market to death. This practice will lead to no one making money but MS and the publisher to the point where buying and selling used games will be pointless, which is what they want.
What happened to changing policy through good solid competition. Want to stop used game sales, create a system that is BETTER. Don't ruthlessly destroy the other system and just laugh at all the corpses you left. The reason so many people trade in games is cause they just want to play it and finish it, they dont want to keep it. So create some sort of rental service online, accessible to all. Want to own the game digitally pay full price. Want to play it for just 3 days, rent it for like $8-$10, done. Yes they run the risk of everyone just renting a game and not buying it but THEY would make all the money on it. Let people make the choice, having to go to some annoying store, get back some store credit or simply pressing a button at home.
Nah it will simply ask the burgler if it wants to be friends and invite him to play... for a fee!
I did.
Awesome rant.
Facial recognition is so passé. When will next gen consoles implement anal recognition instead? A much more intimate way of interacting with your market. And much more apt given the way consumers are being treated.
Personally, I want Phallic Recognition. Every time I want to turn on the system, I just have to whip it out. Of course, then I want the system booting noise to be a voice exclaiming: "DAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMN!"
Then, and only then, will I consider a purchase.
Edit:
Perfect!
I'm playing Revelations....did this chick really just say "Me and my sexy ass are coming"?
No. That was me trying to initiate a video-chat with you. Thanks for ignoring me, dick!
What if you bleach your anus? Will it still recognize it?
Uh, why would anyone want to bleach their anus? Sounds uncomfortable.
Dunno
I'm afraid to click that link.
I got my eyes checked in September, I have perfect vision (with contacts). I can see the 3D effect, it just causes instant headaches.
Your other question was do I rock the LL, and yes I do, which is probably why the screens look so terrible.
I don't often put quotes in my sigs, but when I do, I'll put that one in.
Wii U owners, given the negative reaction to the MS conference, do you feel much more relaxed about the Wii U now? It seems like the heat is off Nintendo now.
It's safe....and ...informative.
I still want games now, so no.
Agree with Vader Nintendo is not out of the cold yet concerning the U. It needs to show some great games at the next direct and promise a healthy release schedule. But if Microsoft seemingly dropping the ball helps change the mind of some third parties about developping on the U, then yeah it would be a good thing. But I somehow doubt it, Wii was head and shoulders above the others in market share and it still didn't get much support from the big 3rd party studios.
