I am not going to read any of the reviews but I have one question.  What does the multiplayer involve?  Is it what they've been calling asymmetrical mutliplayer?  Did they succeed in Miyamoto's challenge to make something infectuous people can't stop playing (like Mario Cart)?

I haven't had a chance to read them in depth, just posted them whilst bored last night with no one online to talk to.

Can you not just post the voucher to Nintendo and have them sort it out? I once had a game code that wouldn't work, I posted it to Nintendo UK and then added the points to my account.

With 3DS it's one of those cases where it looks much better on the screen. Most pics are double to triple the actual size of the 3DS native screen size so blown out of resolution, but also when you hit that 3D slider up, usually its a little bit of magic that make the visuals pop more and become more vibrant. Most of the reviews say the graphics are great.

I had a similar thing last Sunday but I put it down to some dodgy Chinese food. Guess it's not. The antibiotics don't seem to be helping. I've been referred to a specialist but that will take weeks going from experience with the NHS. I honestly think I'll be in the A and E before I get seen by a specialist. I'm not looking forward to the next couple of weeks. The main thing I'm worried about is when the cramps and retching start my heart starts racing, I start to hyper ventilate and feel like I'm going to pass out or have a heart attack.

In other news, it's fecking freezing here, in spring no less. 5 C and the next few days are going to be around 1 C.

As far as my code there doesn't seem to be anything left I can do with it. It doesn't work. Nintendo Support can't/won't verify it and says I'm shit out of luck. Gamestop won't refund it. At this point I'm shit out of luck. Oh well, it's a $20 lesson. Much cheaper than the time I flew to Canada and found out that girls in chatrooms lie about their age.

They only sent me there for blood tests and a stool sample. The tests could not identify any specific bacteria or infection only that my white blood cell count was borderline too high.

I inadvertently let one of my prejudices show there and of that I am ashamed. I was not aware that Petit was transgendered, believe it or not. What a lot of people don't realize is that when you bunch people into a "community" (the LGBT "community" specifically) there tends to be resentment that builds between members of that community. Being Gay is ---NOT--- the same as being transgendered, and the vice-versa is true, as well. There's groups within the "community" that tend to be on either side of an argument: Playing the hand that you are given, or Folding and getting a new hand, for lack of a better way to put it. Although I try to stay out of the argument, I must say I've had A LOT of run ins with transgendered people in my lifetime (none of which involved a fish, sorry GME) and none of them have ended positively. In the simplest terms, the guys that trans into women tend to be very bitchy and sarcastic and the women that trans into men tend to overcompensate and become incredibly socially awkward.

I'd rather NOT known about Petit.

Knowning what I know now and seeing how she's reviewed games in the past, doesn't surprise me and unfortunately strengthens that bias in my head more than anything. Sorry. If anyone needs further explanation, they can PM me. If not, for me at least, the subject is closed.

Yeah, prejudice still kinda coming through there. Not sure such a thing can have much of an explanation beyond: "I have had a bad experience with people that society categorises in an in-humanising subgroup, therefore they must all be terrible and their classification must be the reason for their terribleness because my limited experience encompasses all people within this subgroup." Nevertheless this post is a relief and I'm very happy to see it, Leo. I know you made a similar "joke" to that one for another of her reviews, and I was saddened by it as well, but didn't say anything either time because I wouldn't want anyone to feel like they can't come here and post anything they want, as that's one of the great things about this place. I still <3 you Leo.

For the record, I didn't mean to offend by bringing up Petit's personal life.  I was just trying to make a clarification for Godmode. I realize it was wrong to even bring it up.  I harbor no ill will towards Petit for her decision nor am I offended by it.

The thing is (and this is a prime example of Cognitive Dissonance here) I wasn't being rude on a conscious level when it came to Petit as a person originally. I was being rude because of her horribly bad reviews. At the same time, I was unaware of her transgendering, but I think I also knew. No excuse, but that's that. No more explaining. Sorry for the offense, Foolz.
