Wallpaper Raven?
Again. I used to have THE EXACT GPU CARD that the Wii U is based on in my PC...I would still have it if it didn't shit the bed. It can easily do that Zelda demo. But I guess I don't know what I'm talking about.
So how is this different and better than other Fire Emblem games?

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileHe's probably thinking of the Ubisoft bullshots. They had a lot of them. But that's because they're Ubisoft.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileAll I can say is wow Sleeping Dogs with High res texture pack on Ultra simply amazing! Got it for 8 freaking dollars!
On Steam? If I get my old PC to start I'll get on that.
For one thing, EVERYTHING is refined and streamlined to make it a pleasure to play. Hitting 'X' for example, brings up the safe and attack areas for all enemy units at once so you can move your characters around the map and KNOW they will be OK. Formerly, you would have to select each and every enemy unit individually to see their range.
The touch screen is another excellent update. Literally --EVERYTHING-- you touch brings up more details; from the meaning of all of your stats to descriptions of all of your skills, to the strengths, weaknesses and special skills of your weapons. Tapping 'Full' on the Touch Screen switches between the detailed description of your character and a summarized window, showing your likely attack result versus your enemy.
There's a 'Guide' accessible at any time that explains the gameplay system in FULL detail, including the Weapons Circle (Sword over Axe, Axe over Lance), details on Pairing and Dual Attacks, etc.
Battles and Enemy Turns can be Sped Up by holding down the 'B' button. Battles can be seen from First Person and Dynamic Perspectives. The Right Trigger zooms In and Out of the Battlefield so you can see everything at once or just the immediate area. When you attack an enemy you can scroll through your different weapons using X and Y, making weapon management a breeze.
For the first time in a Fire Emblem game, if you have characters next to each other on the battlefield and they have a high enough affinity, they will attack and/or defend on the same screen at once. You will at least get a boost to your stats, like +10 to Hit or Dodge or Resistance, but get a high enough affinity and they'll join in and attack with you or take blows for you. You can also 'Join' units together; they will move together in one turn so it's a great way to move limited range characters across the battlefield. The character that joins to the other gives the defender a stat boost and cannot BE attacked; they cannot attack either however, but it's a very smart way to protect the weak in a pinch.
The more you pair characters or the more they grow to like each other, the more likely a male and female can actually be MARRIED. There's no set guideline as to who MUST marry who, so you can have different children and experience different 'Paralogues' (bonus battles) in different play-thrus!
The list goes on and on, like having specific battle challenges to get Side-Characters to join... (Donnell!)
...having characters you can Recruit from the enemy display 'Talk' when there's a character on your side they WILL talk to...
...the Bonus Battle DLC...
...the Outrealm where you Fight and Recruit pretty much EVERYONE from past games...
It's endless. It's addicting. It's one of the most well designed, enjoyable, well-written GAMES (not just 3DS) that I've played in a long, long time! It's not dramatically different than former FE games, but everything they changed or added was done in such a way... Intelligent Systems couldn't be a more appropriate name for their development team!
I had a really cool day and visited some of the lesser known stuff of Orlando. Most importantly.... the grave of artist Bob Ross. Turns out he's burried about 20 miles from me. Kind of a cool thing to see. Then hit a Buddhist temple and stopped by a wolf rescue. Funny the stuff your own town has in it.
Anyway time for more Persona 4.
Trying to copy me, I see...
Any sort of game would seem not to measure up to a day like that.
Game Informers Scores:
Dead Space 3: 9.75 "winning formula... befitting of the fantastic series..."
Aliens: 7.75 "enjoy for what it is, rather than lamenting what it isn't" (fun)
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance: 7 "...you can't help but wonder what this game could have been"
Anarchy Reigns: 7.5 "...rough at times, but entertaining, though I wouldn;t reccoment it..."
Knytt Underground: 7.5 "...can be fun - just don't expect any kind of rewarding conclusion..."
Joe Danger Touch: 8.25 "...as entertaining as its console bretheren..."
Antichamber: 9 "...hard pressed to find a more unique, engaging puzzle game."
Strike Suit Zero: 7.75 "...SSZ's strength is intensity, not aestethetics..."
Persona 4 Arena: 8.5 "...largely inaccessible to casual players..."
Omerta: City of Gansters: 6.25 "...an offer you can refuse."
Persona 4: Golden: 8.5 "Newcomers are sure to find plenty to love, while veterans can revisit fond memories..."
The Cave: 7.75 "...misses its mark in elimenating pacing problems..."
Game Informer has by far some of the shittest reviews out there. Literally overating almost every game. 9.75 for Dead Space 3? 7.5 for Aliens? Christ. I buy the magazine every month because the rest of it is a good read, but man the reviews are fucking terrible.
I really hope Etrian Odyssey for the 3DS turns out to be as good as (or hopefully better than) the DS versions. I was enjoying the last one immensely, but saw news of the sequel literally a week or two after starting it, and decided to put that one aside and wait for the 3D version. I hope they utilize all of the systems strengths and don't just make the game 3D!
I miss the old EGM. They were by far, my favorite group of reviewers.
Looks like everything below 8 they consider to be mostly bad going by Aspro's quotes, so are the review contents inflated as well, or just the scores?
I finished the main three episodes in RE6. Chris' was rather boring...more third person cover based type action. The final boss was incredible though.
i played the Revengeance demo and was impressed with the physics. I'm sure it'll be a good rental one day.
It seems as if they review by sales potential and not by actual gameplay. To be honest, even from just the one sentence, let alone the score, I don't even think they PLAYED Metal Gear Revengeance! The general attitude before was: "It's never going to live up to the Metal Gear name." The actual game now is: "Holy crap! This game is AWESOME! Some of Platinum's best stuff yet!"
