PM me if you get REALLY stumped. I have a few tips I could give you --WITHOUT-- spoiling anything!
Oooooooh.... shmups..... shumps.....
All in all that's good news about your father, Travo.
My demands are simple, Konami: You are to not develop a new Parodius game for the Wii U system in partnership with UbiSoft, using the Rayman Legends engine. If you do develop Parodius under these terms, then Phantom Leo_will not slaughter the entire GameSpot posting population.
Now that I am playing Rayman Origins with the intention of finishing it, seeing all that it has to offer, it really embarasses me how my "fellow" gamers think sometimes. Thinking back to all the posts and comments about how it should have been (and how --ALL-- 2D games should be) a cheap, downloadable game... Really? Seriously? Wow. The complainers obviously did not play it and have no idea what they are missing or what they are talking about. Ignorance at its best.
^ I paid $40 for Rayman Origins (one month after it came out) and it was worth every penny.
The incredibly quick price drop it received says two things to me: Modern gamers have no taste for good games. I am shocked (but pleased) it's receiving a sequel on the Wii U with how the last game performed at retail.
Really and truly, Ubi needs to license out that engine and STAT and get some more BEAUTIFUL 2D games to the market!
I made a pledge to stick with renting games this year, but the way I see it, I originally planned to get Rayman Legends at launch with the Wii U and it got pushed back to February. So....... if I bought it, I really wouldn't be breaking my pledge.
I hope Rayman Legends gets ported to the 3DS. I'd love to play it.
You'll get a Wii U at some point. You know you will.
LOL!
...and the shit-storm about GameSpot giving Fire Emblem ---ONLY--- an 8.5 has begun!!
Kevin VanOrd is valiantly trying to defend the review.
Silly Kevin don't you know it's...
...futile!
I don't know about the cheap part, but it should have been a more concise experience; the consistency of the level design clearly suffered from moving from small downloadable title to full retail title.
I just hate the 3DS part of the 3DS. Everytime I get serious about buying one again I remember just how much I hate the main feature of the system. All the thing is to me is a more expensive DS. Arrrghhh but I wants that Fire Emblem....
Where is all this GS drama Leo?
I am in love with Fez, wow what a game! It is pure exploration, pure puzzle and platforming bliss. The game is simply open to you to explore and figure out on your own like the games of old. Its enchanting in its own way, I cant wait to see where I end up next. Oh and the music is so good.
I cant believe there are people who play video games for a living that think Journey is better than Fez, mind boggeling.
Here.
At least Journey works.
A few inflammatory comments popped up right after the review was posted, but it ended quicker than I thought. There's a handful of people whining, but it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be.
I think that's open for debate.
It's Groundhog Day!
