My demands are simple, Konami: You are to develop a new Parodius game for the Wii U system in partnership with Ubi Soft, using the Rayman Legends engine. Do so and I will not ruthlessly slaughter the entire posting population of GameSpot.

I lie. I will get my game and slaughter the little bastards anyway. It's a win-win situation.

It seems this game is available on the PSP. If Anarchy Reigns does not arrive this weekend I will go and and dispose of whatever shame I still have and will play it.

I played the original Parodius on the SNES. Was one of the first imports I ever bought. WELL worth it! I imagine they only got better as the series went on. If you love Stinger or Twin Bee or ANYTHING about ANY shooters, there's ABSOLUTELY NO SHAME in playing those GREAT, GREAT games!

Konami released collections of most of its greatest shooters for the PSP.  Gradius, Parodius, Twinbee, Salamander etc ...  these were about as comprehensive as you could get I think.  A shmup fan's wet dream.  The only sad thing was realising I can no longer play these games because I am not even close to being the hardcore gamer I was as a child, regardless of how badly I want to be.

AWESOME!! Travo just got it too! You two can compare notes! If you need any hints, let me know!

In truth, you'll probably run thru the main game by tomorrow, most likely, but you'll see just how deep it is too...

...to 100% this one... that might take a while!

He's been in a hospital since Sunday evening.  He was in our local hospital receiving fluids and told that he had Pneumonia and kidney failure.  This is a man who has congestive heart failure and fought off excessive fluids for 15 years.  We were all concerned that he would pass any day.

He was transferred to the hospital in Columbia.  They are laying off the fluids, his kidneys are not shutting down and he has no Pneumonia.  Looks like we can strike off another for our local, inept hospital.  He does have a kidney disease, but they are using antibiotics, no dialysis needed.  Don't get me wrong, my father is still a very sick man, but the situation isn't as dire as I was first led to believe.

I'm glad it's not as bad as they thought in the first hospital, but I wish it wasn't as bad as it is still. Take it easy, man. You and your family are in my thoughts.

Nintendos shop system is a disaster. i recently bought a points card to get la mulana totally forgetting that i need a wii points card, not a wii u one. now i activated the wii u card on the wii u and it tells me i cant use that money on the 3ds shop even though the card said its for both. You have to choose which store you want to use it on.

Fez is pretty cool.  I love how the puzzles seamlessly weave 3D and 2D gameplay.  So far the puzzles aren't too tricky, though there is one that has me completely stumped.  I should possibly finish this during my weekend at work...unless I get a hankering to play a ton of MGS3.
