We could try to bring back VGPress online multiplayer contest for MK7. But we have to ban Vader and Robio, they're too good

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
Did this bit in AC3, ran through a town as cannons were firing on it and the buildings were collapsing, then raided some ships. Pretty awesome feeling but it was over too soon.
So I beat the last level in NSMB U, unlocked star road. But they want all star coins in a world to unlock one level. So I do all the star coins on acorn plains and the star road level is not unlocked? What am I missing? Are there secret levels on the map?
You know on SMW the red glowing dot marked an alternative path. In NSMB U once you pass a level everything goes blue. So are there secret levels on the map and if so how do I know where to look?
Yes. Each section of the map has a secret level. They're surprisingly tough to find. If you look at your coin list for each level you'll see one level that has a small icon of a monster next to it. That will be the secret level. Totally worth finding too as they're some of the best designed levels in the game.
My brother came out with a hilarious comment the other day....he bought the Wii U for X-mas for him & the kids, and tells me yesterday that he was watching my nephew play NSMBU and that "you can definitely tell this system is more powerful than the Wii".
Yes brother..I would hope so.
Just watched the DMC review on IGN. Shit, to me this looks like the most interesting DMC in years. I actually really want it now. If it was just another cookie cutter Capcom sequel, I probably wouldn't bother with it.
Is your brother one of those guys that occasionally dips his toes into gaming then spouts shit he knows knowing about?
Like mine.
Thanks for the info. So is there a monster to find or just a secret exit?
I've been trying to convince him that they need to play Zombi U...but since Game Informer gave it a shit review he thinks I'm crazy.
Robio I cannot see this monster icon anywhere, where should it be exactly and what does it look like?
Ah I see it on the star coins list but nowhere shows how to get to it?
Ah forget it, faqed it.
Gearbox doesn't even List Aliens for Wii U on their own website:

Something tells me the U version is going to be months late.
Just got DmC which means I have 20 minutes of updates and installs to sit through. If you get DmC at BB you can get RE6 for $10.
BTW anyone getting this?
^^^ I want I want I want I want!1
Dang, when I completed NSMB U I didn't realise there is so much more. I have been doing the secret exits to get to the secret levels and then I have to get the star coins for star roads levels too.
Looks like my ex.
Ginger Spice.
Well I played through the Gran Prix Mode in Mario Kart Wii over the past few days.
The only MK I've ever really played extensively was MK64, and I was pleased how good it felt playing this game...similar, yet fresh at the same time. I love how the track lineup is basically a BEST OF from all the previous games. Seeing some of those N64 tracks redone with Wii graphics was nice. Brought back some good memories of 4 player action with my friends.
Feels good to get a game out of my backlog out of the way too.
Personally I think it's the best Mario Kart game. Some po-faced assholes gave it bad reviews. MK64 was horrible, the AI was so cheap. MK7 is solid but feels a bit stale.
A few hours in and I am enjoying the game cause the action is fast and fluid but boy is it easy. I started on the hardest setting available and I went through the first level without getting touched until the first boss. The second level is a ton of tutorials which introduce the different weapons and platforming. There is no need for so many gaps in the action, it is one of the slowest most boring levels of any DMC game. Hopefully i got through all the handholding and we can get to the killing which is a lot of fun cause the combos you can do are insane. They simplified the canceling so it is much more accessable allowing anyone to string super combos. I can stay in the air almost forever by doing enemy jump out of a canceled attack. I found you can start a combo with one weapon and substitue the final super attack with another weapons super attack mid combo, excellent way to use the powerful weapons strongest attack in a much faster way.
Having played the demo I know that the enemy combinations get better. I am not a fan of color coded enemies, I havent encountered them yet in the game but I know they are coming. Overall the combat feels super fast and incredibly responsive but the enemies are just not up to par to giving you a challenge.
The game world is amazingly beautiful, you will love the limbo world shifting effects. There are still secrets all over to find, some requiring you to go back to past levels with new skills to find. The secret levels so far have been super easy, here is hoping they have better challenges later. Platforming is ok, its not going to be anything that requires skill but it can be fun to pull off.
Above all the combat system feels great and that is what matters. The game has plenty of time to fix the other issues. I dont expect the best DMC game but it sure isn't a DMC2.
And yes the story is pretty neat.
Friends don't let friends drink and amazon.com. I was waiting for the second 3DS to come out, but now I think I'll just get a 3DS LL because I am concerned they'll take the DS compatibility out of the next version.
Then you would be wrong.
This second leak of HL2:EP4 looks a lot like pre-publicity for a Half-Life announcement early this year.
