I've mostly been playing Bulletstorm this weekend. Love the game, but the motion of the screen makes me feel a little sick, so I can't play for more than 30 minutes at a time.
I also played some Mega Man 9 & 10, thanks to PS+.
I am now playing Zelda: Skyward Sword after finishing The Walking Dead and Assassin's Creed 3.
Why is each body of water connected to a waterfall to the ocean, and why doesn't the water just drain away?
Been playing Skyrim and Uncharted 3.
Uncharted 3 is pretty cool shit. Shooting gets a bit to get used to, but nothing gamebreaking IMO. The crazy shit going on that is a trademark of the series is just as cool as in the second game, I just ended the Chateau.
Skyrim is great. I'm not even talking about graphical stuff since my PC can't handle big-ass graphic mods. But small details and subtle gameplay changes and bug fixes improve things a lot. I also got Hearthfire during the past sale and started building my own place as soon as I got word from a hold that was willing to sell me some land.
This is my house. I'm no longer an unwashed hobo!
The place is near a lake not far from Falkreath. To be honest, Falkreath is a shithole, but the bit of land I bought dominates the lake and it's far away enough so the filth of that dusty town won't get to soil my carpeting. When I get some carpeting. Some nights I go outside and watch the lake, there are lots of torchbugs and weird butterflies near the place.
The water flows from the ice in the North. The ice will always be there. Winter is coming to Westeros...
...it's been coming for 5 fuckin' books so far, but, apparently, it's still coming...
...that's why the ice never depletes, and that's why there always water on the continent.
I don't see any ways for the ice to get to those bodies of water except for flooding, though. Maybe from the castle? Nevertheless it seems more likely that it would simply flow into the ocean...
I love REDHEADS!
I just saw Zero Dark Thirty and I want to bang the shit out of the redhead actress with Bin Laden's corpse watching.
DId you finish the fifth book yet?
Redheads are my favorite too...there's nothing like a hot redhead. Smack that ass until its as red as a tomato.
I can't seem to see the ending again on the same save file, the error code wont work again so I've had to burn through the whole game again just to get back to it. I want them to do a graphic adventure like the ending next.
Best advice I can give anyone is to practice the controls everytime you start a game session. Especially doing a 180 and running, aiming and pushing away. Take 30 seconds and you're prepped and ready. Then it's pretty simple, flares will make draw them away, then molotov. Flare, molotov, repeat.
Use the cricket bat for much of everything else but never take on more than 2 at once with a cricket bat.
Me too, I love the game. After playing it and seeing all the wii u pad use I played AC3 thinking, this could have had these features or similar stuff and been so much better. And Wii U game that has virtual touch screen customisable hotkeys will be great. Especially if you can customise the position of the keys. If only you could use the touch screen with the map on AC3.
Nice. Why does it take you guys so long to implement my advice? Now everyone buy a used SDTV from ebay.
The giant bowser boss in NSMBU, Pixar quality?
People who have played Skyrim and Assasins creed 3, which has better mountainous environments? I'm pretty happy with the ac3 graphics on the frontier.
BTW do you guys play your consoles on 1080p tvs? I switch between tvs and I have noticed that since most games are 720p they look better on 720p sets. To a lesser extent you have the same effect as wii on an sdtv. There is a still a difference between 720 and 1080 so you still have scaling, stretched pictures and artifact/aliasing problems. Some people wont notice, its not bad or hideous like SD content on an HD set but I can see the difference.
Also playing on a smaller TV helps too. Maybe try playing on a 20 inch instead of a 42 - 50 inch. I'm very sensitive to picture quality.
EDIT:
Just started snowing here.
Remember when I told you guys that shops were not even selling Wii U games here in the UK? Someone made a thread on GAF.
It's very strange.
No point of sale material, no posters, not info, 1 single game on the shelves. It's almost like a dirty secret.
SS is a lot more complex than WW.
Some proper screens from this pokemon game.
