They have done very little to optimise it for wii u. Virtually no touch screen support, low u pad only speaker volume, difficult and slow to switch to offscreen play. Thankfully the game is not a high colour game so it actually loses very little when playing off screen. It is cool being able to move the hud off the main screen, feels like sweeping away the cobwebs. Also the map is pretty useful, showing a larger field of play than the tiny on screen radar.
The button assignment is again, finnicky - they want you to parry with A but attack with Y meaning you have to cross your thumb over horizontally. They put jump on B when it would obviously be better on A.
Technically the game is the same as other versions, but it runs just under a solid 30 fps making it look just slightly off. The free running seems a touch less solid than 2 as well. They missed a trick too with wii u functionality, they could have done a lot of not too difficult stuff to truly make this version hands down better, but they didn't bother.
Anyway, it's still solid stuff but not improved as a sequel should be so far.
DmC Comes out in two weeks? I am actually going to pass on it unless there is some insane deal for it, like $40.
Same here. Though I want to beat 3 and 4 first.
How does that affect sound quality?
Yeah but no inventories. You just move around with L and use R as a cursor and everything that can be interacted with is clearly highlighted. Its all pretty automatic with QTEs as well. The only choices you make are story ones.
So he got further than in any Mario game he's played?
Okay, Bulletstorm just went from pretty cool to dick-killin' awesome! in Chapter 2.
Fixed.
Always glad to hear when someone likes this game. Just wish more people tried it out when it first came out so that we would have gotten a sequel out of it. The good news for you though is that the game only gets better as it progresses. Now go out there an kill someone's dick!
Damn this Walking Dead game is brutal. Fans of the show have to try it out.
Indeed. May it never have a sequel, it can never be topped.
To be clear I am responding to you, not GG. SMG 1 & 2. Paper Mario. Super Mario RPG (twice), Super Mario Land and Super Mario and 2.
I would give OK Go 3% more credibility if they just did covers and dropped the charade of being musicians and focused on the video bullshit as their main gig.
Which would give them a resevoir of 3% of Aspro's respect.
It doesn't, it just boosts output. Well I haven't tried the one I ordered yet but I tried a wireless set with a volume boost and battery built in. The signal degradation was because they were wireless, you got a mild sort of static, not really noticible once you've started but that's preferable than not being able to hear dialogue on a movie being streamed. The one I ordered uses a single AA battery and is half the size of a matchbook, it just links between your headphones and 3.5mm jack. Should be decent, I'll let you know in a couple of days.
Crap! Just saw this. No, I'm just about to leave, sorry!
