I am very happy with the way Halo 4 has been received. It could have gone the other way entirely.
Also, on the entire Geof Keighly/ Eurogamer drama, Giantbomb has a revealing and thoughtful discussion of it toward the back end of their most recent podcast. Certainly worth listening to if you want some deep background on PR, Marketing, Freelancers, Mock Reviews and some details specific the incident that sparked the furor.
^ Sounds good, will check it out.
SEGA already did.
Yeah, it's like bands. Most popular bands have 2-3 songs they rehash endlessly into new songs of decades. It's just what creative output is like. Look at painters too, like Monet. When an artist hits on a distinctive theme that brings them popularity they tend to stick with it.
Very good points!
Wow Super Punch Out is pretty crappy. So glad they got it right with Punch Out Wii, which reminds me I should own that game.
Are you talking about Super Punchout on the SNES ...... ? Being .... crappy? DOES NOT COMPUTE.

For a few reasons, I am a bit terrified of angry crowds and mob mentality. I haven't been able to get into the city for the last week, due to the trains/subways being shut down and car-services being canceled due to the gas shortage. I have been stuck where I am and forced to go where I need to go in the neighborhood on foot or take short trips for necessities by car. What I have seen, I will never forget. The National Guard has actually been called in. Police have been wearing Riot Gear and showing their weapons JUST at the local gas pumps, as people have gotten THAT desperate. I have been involved in one fight defending an elderly WOMAN trying to get gas for her generator and have seen MANY, MANY, MANY grown men and women FIGHTING on these lines... and this was two (3?) days ago when things weren't even as bad as they are now. Supposedly the gas situation will be alleviated in the next day or two as ports have been opened up and tankers and trucks will be delivering fuel as quickly as they can... I have been posting, playing and trying to act as if things as fine and normal, but, in reality, nope. I don't like the feeling of anxiety I have been feeling over the last week and I am trying to keep it together for the people around me... at least we have power! ...but for the most part, things are still VERY TOUGH and VERY BAD!
This boat didn't start out in front of this house, in the driveway, or such, it FLOATED here during the storm!
The famous Jones Beach Boardwalk is GONE!
This is a typical home, at the moment.
Yup. These are the streets.
Couldn't have put it any better myself.
No crossing.
All areas, for richer or poorer are affected.
How's your Dad and what have you been playing lately, Travo?
Yup thats how a hurricane is, damn that sucks but you have power so that is more important than anything right now. I never had power outage for more than two days so I have been lucky as well.
And I was getting excited to go to NYC next week. First time I have been back in forever.
I've played about an hour of B2 yesterday and that was it. This week has been crazy! I've found myself going to bed at about nine , worn out from Halloween and school activities. Working to pay off this loan I've inherited from my mom has taken its toll on me as we'll. One day off in ten weeks sucks!
I am glad your dad is getting better. I hope YOUR situation gets better soon too. Hang in there man!
Good to hear about your dad, how old is he? How do you inherit a loan?
Jeez, didn't mean to tell everything like this, but that's how it is for me now.
You have my sympathies man, I've been through the exact, same thing.
