Like a bluetooth dongle, or something specific for the controllers?

360 controllers don't use Bluetooth. They require a specific dongle to work on PC.

Those I think.
EDIT:
Which are apparently fakes, but do work.
Yeah, there's a ton of fake ones out there, which is why I bought a wired 360 controller for my PC.
That's great, thanks so much. Will see if I can find that in the shop here (fat chance) as having anything shipped over here by amazon is complete ass rape on shipping charges (way more than cost of item)

PS1 games look like absolute crap on PS3. I downloaded Ridge Racer 4 from PSN, and the graphics are so pixelated that I can barely see where I'm going. I thought these were upscaled to look a bit nicer on PS3? Apparently not. My eyes hurt.
This may also end up being cheaper for me as I could get that from retailers other than amazon

Yeah, I was even thinking of making a thread about this. I don't think they look bad ... on the PS3 in particular - they just look bad fullstop. Age hasn't been kind to them at all. They look a complete mess. I couldn't believe how bad MGS looked. The fact that I played through to the end is a testament to how good a game it is as to look at it was one of the worst games in recent memory. Blood Omen looked like a SNES game - which should have been a good thing - but it didn't look like a nice SNES game

Honestly MGS and Ridge Racer both still look excellent to me. And yes I've played them both recently. (Well, played MGS and watched a lot of Ridge Racer videos on YouTube because I can't get mine to work on my PS2.
)
Maybe because you first played them at the time they had "groundbreaking" graphics? I missed out first time around and having played it recently ... aghh. Honestly MGS is a muddled mess of grey, brown and black. The faces of the characters look like they've been put in the blender. I felt the same way about Soul Reaver. I couldn't navigate the game properly because everything looked like a mess of brown. Vib Ribbon is the best looking game on the PSX (No, in honesty - a lot of the JRPGs still look great today)

I'm going to hook up my PS3 to my old CRT this weekend to see if R4 looks better. I loved playing the RIdge Racer games back in the day.
I don't think that's it. MGS makes pretty good use of the PSX's limitations through the direction of the scenes, and the dirtiness and harshness of the environments also fit the pixellated graphics. The later Ridge Racers don't look overly pixellated at all, though. That must be due to playing on an HDTV, Raven? They should be almost like an N64 game, but with extreme jaggies. And the lighting and colours still look awesome today.
I still have a PS1 and PS2 hooked up. Believe it or not the ps1 games do look better on PS2 and PS3 (though I can't see a difference between PS2 and PS3 for PS1 games).
It's just you can't polish a turd (to use my least favorite expression). These games are way worse than your memory of them.
PS1 games look like your TV dropped in an aquarium. N64 games look like you are watching them in a smoky bar.

There happy?!
Yeah, I was going to ask if it was even out yet.
It's been out in Japan for 6 days. Usually by now we have a recap of the prior week.
It's a question of some merit, as in Japan it has a $15 a month subscription, and Japanese homes don't usually have internet access the way we do in the west (most Japanese use the internet through their smartphones).
Yes. That's helps. Except I saw blueman buy it, so there is at least one.
Internet being slowed SUCKS. So does having a mild case of the flu. So tired, yet the gamer in me wants to play games I really don't want to.
Anyway, since my cap is already blown this week I figured I'd DL whatever I want (since it won't count against me). The MGS4 Trophy patch is 517 MB. According to PSN that will take 1462 minutes (24.36 hours) to DL.
I don't think my PS3 has another 24.36 hours in it.
lalalala (that's the flu talking).
Also tried ... Velvet Assassin. It's a stealth game, which means I'll never play it again. The protagonist's name is Violette Summer. lol. Reverse that and she's a Californian beach bunny. I once dated a girl named Summer. Didn't work out (that 's the flu talking again). I also dated a girl named Sommer. It worked out slightly better.
Data caps are ridiculous in a world that puts an increasing importance on being "connected" all the time.
