I hate you.
Yes that is hydrophobia on my trophy list. Worst move controls in history, there is no box so if you are not pointing at the exact center of the screen the camera is moving, so horrible.
The best thing happened when I actually FAILED a quest...
I was doing the one where you are looking for Triss' Bandanna. You bring it to Phillipa once you retrieve it. A series of events occur RIGHT AFTER clearing that quest which make the Elves leave Vergen, automatically making you FAIL a quest where you need to speak to an Elf by the Inn. It's the quest where young men are being killed and you need to go to the Catacombs to investigate. I decided to re-load an earlier autosave specifically to be able to complete this quest. I kinda knew a Succubus was behind it and wanted to say how it would be portrayed. Not only was it a very cool quest in itself, involving using Dandelion as bait (
) ... but after clearing IT, then the Triss Quest again, Phillipa and Cynthia [ her "leashed" apprentice... again,
] had almost entirely DIFFERENT things to say. In the Catacombs I also found a book describing the whole Procession of the Wild Hunt... This whole (side) story intrigues the HELL out of me... I don't know if it's the motivation behind the entire game or if it's just a really cool side-story... but either way, the first time around I would have missed it ENTIRELY and that would have SUCKED!
VERY COOL GAME FLOW STRUCTURE GOIN' ON IN THERE!
Leo you are playing a completely different second act than mine. The second act is totally different (new area, characters, everything) depending who you side with.
I played some Sound Shapes, I dont think its all that great. Very cool concept but there isnt enough there to make a quality platformer. For a game about music, the music is extremely limited. The user levels right now are terrible, you can see many want to make music from other games but the limited music options doesn't let them. LBP basically does everything this game does just a million times better.
The game is still pretty awesome with a Dualshock controller.
I strangely enjoy the horrible move controls, its like an added challenge.
Yeah, I know, and that's FUCKIN' AWESOME!
I have to say, I am enjoying this game IMMENSELY...
It takes ---A LOT--- to shock and/or surprise me, but some of the things I have seen in this game, today alone, rank right up there with some of the BIGGEST W-T-F moments I have ever had in all my years of gaming EVER ! ! !
...and this ISN'T even what I am talking about!
Please, Please, Please tell me I am not the only one who has done the Iorveth Path! Someone else needs to confirm for me IF the person I saw in the Harpy's Nest, during the Quest to find the Crystallized Dreams, is REALLY who I think it is! In the Peasant's Dream...
What the fuck is that? Please tell me there aren't any sex scenes involving that... thing.
There aren't (that I know of)... but the shocking scene I mentioned in my earler post involves a sex scene with the last person you would EVER expect!
I won't spoil anything, let's just say, just like everyone in the A Song of Ice and Fire series, EVERY. LAST. PERSON. in this game is not NEARLY as clean and virtuous as they would like to make you think they are!
Now that I mention it, the writer of the Witcher books (and thus the game) borrows --HEAVILY-- from ASOIAF. Between Kings vying for power, Incest and Kingslaying...
...yeah...
Yup I agree....its one of those games that feels like you could replay it a million times and still see new shit. Witcher 1 was the same way also....honestly I can't decide which game I like better. They were both amazing, and both have their strengths,
Incest was also a big part of the 1st. Witcher game, hell, due to an incestous relationship this comes out. I'm not going to lie, it did catch me off guard the first time. The sex scenes as well, I've seen NC-17 and even exploitation films with much less nudity.
Leo have you gone to the forest of giant penii?
Do you mean The Pines at Fire Island? Of course, it was given it's nickname because of me!
Oh. Wait. Are you talking about a game?!
If you are talking about The Witcher 2, then no!
Yes Witcher 2 though I am not surprised you have been to a real one.
Been playing Assassin's Creed Brotherhood all weekend. I finished it but I may do some meta-game side quests and collectathons while I try to decide what to play next. If you have any ideas, shoot.

^Has Binary Domain arrived yet? That would be a nice change of pace after AC.
I've been playing nothing but Borderlands and Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga this week. M&L would benefit from a map, but that would likely make this a very short game. The music is what keeps me going in it, so many great songs from teh back catalog. Looks incredible on TV and on GBA Micro too.
Borderlands I am grinding, doing every mission I can find. I have to kill some big thing down near the beach on the Trash Coast region, I've tried a couple of times, doesn't appear to be a trick or anything, just have to brute force it.
Still have a flu, which keeps me lethargic on the couch, would much prefer to be working.
