Ok man sounds good....I think I'm all set. lol
What to do with the 50 free dollars worth of PSN Points on my first purchase...
Just spoke to SONY regarding those PS Store Purchases that ---STILL--- have not come out of my account.
The mumbly girl on the phone basically said: "There's a known problem where wallet fundings between 7/26 and 8/8 were not charged to people's accounts. That's all they told me. We don't have a time frame for when this may be fixed. My advice to you is to watch your account."
My advise to her is to open her mouth & stick her tongue out.
I knew something was fucked up.
If I must say one thing about The Witcher 2 it is this:
I --ABSOLUTELY LOVE-- how the story and the game changes depending on your actions. Even the order in which you do quests opens up different dialogue options, different story branches. There's also --A TON-- of intriguing mythological sub-threads going on in the background of this game. You can tell this game is neither a "Western" or "Eastern" RPG, as it comes from a not-oft seen Polish developer. Creatures and stories may seem familiar but they're not portrayed in the typical way. The Succubi in this game look nothing like Morrigan, for example. The Troll under the bridge may not get pissed off from you trip-tripping over his head! It's all very, very, VERY cool!
I also love how you can focus more on Magic, more on Sword Fighting, more on traps and bombs, or a little combination of any of them... Vader ploughed through the game by Focusing on Sword Skills, where I am focusing more on Magic, turning enemies against one another, or stunning them and going for the quick lethal strike! You can delve into tons of different weaponries or throw all of your talent points into Magic and Alchemy.
Tiny bit of Elder Scrolls in there. Tiny bit of Arkham City like combat. Smidge of Metal Gear (in Geralt's attitude and slight Stealth element)... There's even nudity, adult language and BOOBIES!
Just for reference, the game path I am taking is Iorveth's path. Roche seemed too Douchey to me, so I decided to side with the non-humans, which has taken me to a dwarven city in the middle of a spectral --AND-- noble war!
...all around YAY!
And Skyrim has a glitch where I cant complete the civil war quest. Yay!
I am in the final main mission, going to finish it tonight.
I don't remember Skyrim ever giving me a gameplay challenge as I played through the main story, so at least you don't have a tough boss to go up against.
It's really one of the only things wrong with the game -- that it is too easy.
I forgot to add: If (after I am done with ASOIAF) I discover the Witcher novels have been translated into English, I may just jump right into them!
I'll tell you wahat is fucking awesome though. Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga for GBA. The music is sublime.
It's great being able to go back and forth between my GBA Player on the Gamecube and the handheld without having to worry about memory cards etc... I can play it on my TV and then when it's time to go (or go to bed) just take it out and pop it in my GBA Micro and I'm set. Looks great on both too.
A big release week for the first time in... MONTHS!
Cannot wait for Darksiders II...!
I am so thrilled for Darksiders, I have seen almost nothing on the game. Its going to be all fresh for me.
I HAVE MUCH EXCITEMENT!
Hybrid still seems to be having trouble.
It's nice to be ambitious and stretch yourself, but Fifth Cell seem out of their league on this one. As of yesterday this was their advice in their support forum, "Try logging in! Some people are having good luck with it." If I paid for a game, this is not the technical support I am looking for.

And if you were thinking about exploiting the low price of Binary Domain on the Steam this weekend hold off. Apparently the PC port is terrible,
"The UI designer may never have seen a keyboard: I wasn’t even able to identify the icon used to represent ‘Tab’ during the tutorial. How do I reach the main menu? Oh, that’s right, it’s ‘Enter’. Of course. There’s no mouse movement on the menus – WASD to navigate and ‘F’ to go back. Obviously, in-game, ‘F’ is the interact key – except when interact is ‘Space’. Not that the game tells you this, because the default in-game prompts are those for a 360 control pad, whether or not your input scheme is set to keyboard. Want to change the in-game prompts? Just quit the game, load the separate settings application then restart."

Official XB Magazine (UK) gave Sleeping Dogs a 9/10. They say it's only 10 hours long though! That would make it the shortest open world game ever right?
