Wait no one reacted to this?!
I guess my project to turn everyone in the VG Press gay has been successful!
TV failing
I gotta pick up that Jak & Daxter HD Collection soon. Never played the 1st game, but Jak 2 was a great game, and very impressive for its time production-wise. Jak 3 was great too, though not as good IMO.
As for Sony, its funny cuz Sony used to really seem like they made by far the best TV's, stereo's, etc...for the price. These days, not so much. So its not surprising the troubles they've been having.
Almost done with ASS CREED 4! W000T!
They still make great audio visual goods, but other companies and the Koreans mainly are driving down prices and compete far better now. If I could afford it I would probably go with an expensive sony TV. I buy their Blu-rays and stereos.
The Rare article is a good read guys.
True Crime Hong Kong liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiives
I just played the Kingdoms of Amalur demo on PC....PC version controls much better. It also has a nice snappy tactics bar similar to Dragon Age.
I know ME3 is no RPG Iga but for some reason it is still labeled as such.
So did you guys hear that Lollipop Chainsaw in Japan, if you want gore you have to pay for the premium version, the standard version has no gore.
WTF, can you imagine this being done in the west?
Sexy Steelbook
And new video
Sleeping dogs aka True Crime Hong Kong.
I want to see a virtual hong kong as I watch a lot of HK movies. The depiction is interesting, all american accent voice actors seems a strange choice, not a Cantonese accent in place.
But also it seems like a western intepretation of a HK movie like a wesley snipes film set in HK.
Other than SPL (known as Killzone in the USA) Most modern HK movies are not martial arts films at all, that phase kind of died out in the 80s. There are some exceptions but very, very few good martial arts films set in a contempory setting. Most HK movies are crime, thrillers, comedies and dramas and they have this once a year Lunar new year crazy ass film period.
Not a big surprise. I'm just surprised they're allowing it at all. When No More Heroes came out they had to substitute the blood with "black spray" instead.
Is that a new True Crime? Damn, those graphics look pretty photorealistic.
Just beat Assassin's Creed: Revelations.
Good game just like all the others, had a good time with it. That said, the formula is getting maybe a touch stale and Revelations didn't have the wow factor of the other entries, so I give it an 8.4 Edging.
Now, I need to start one of these:
It's True Crime Hong Kong which was canned by Activision IIRC when it was nearly complete. Square Enix bought the rights and have renamed it Sleeping Dogs.
Square Enix you so crazy.
I decided to play L.A. Noire next....HA!
You have chosen poorly.
