18 January 2012 – Nintendo today announced an exclusive limited edition bundle for The Last Story, the latest action-packed RPG to come from Hironobu Sakaguchi, available exclusively on Wii™ across Europe from 24 February.

The limited edition The Last Story bundle will be available for pre-order while stocks last and features a copy of the game, an exclusive SteelBook™ cover decorated with beautiful artwork, and a The Elements Of The Last Story package which includes The Premium Soundtrack CD and The Illustrations art booklet. The CD features a 7-track selection of music from the game composed by Nobuo Uematsu who has also collaborated with Hironobu Sakaguchi on many of his previous iconic RPGs.

The Last Story adds a modern twist to the traditional RPG formula, offering a strategic, real-time combat system and allowing you to customise your character and weaponry. By mastering a mysterious ability called The Gathering you will be able to help the main protagonist Zael and his band of mercenaries complete the many missions and battle vast bosses by discovering their weak spots and using teamwork to bring them down.

Unlike many other RPGs, The Last Story not only features a story-driven single player campaign, but also two online multiplayer modes, Deathmatch and Co-op, allowing you to battle against or alongside up to five other people from across Europe. Online battles can yield rare weapons and items that can be carried over into the single player campaign.

The limited edition bundle of The Last Story, the latest action-based RPG from Hironobu Sakaguchi, launches across Europe exclusively for Wii on 24th February 2012. Each bundle contains an exclusive SteelBook™ cover, a copy of the game and a The Elements Of The Last Story package.

See the game in action at nintendo.co.uk/laststory and stay tuned for more updates!

The saga is complete. There's no need to dilute it even further with more films clutching at straws.

Great impressions on the Vita there Vader. I don't care much for how the analog sticks sound but the rest of it seems like top-notch quality. Really looking forward to picking one of these up myself.

Yeah great impressions D.

What about the size of it? It looks bigger than the PSP, is it portable? Also the sticks jut out? Wouldn't they stick in your pocket or bag?

EDGE Mag

Sales of PlayStation Vita have fallen by 57 per cent in Japan week on week, with just 18,361 units sold in the week ending January 15, according to Media Create data passed on by Andriasang.

This is the third successive week that Vita sales have fallen since launch, when 324,859 units were sold. In its second week on shelves, sales dropped 77.7 per cent to 72,479, and the week after, by 41.2 per cent to 42,648.

Lifetime sales now stand at 458,347 - almost 40 per cent lower than the 742,244 systems sold in 3DS's first four weeks on sale in Japan. Sales of Nintendo's handheld also fell every week, but that Vita is lagging almost 300,000 units behind a system that sold so badly Nintendo was compelled to drop the price and forecast a first annual loss in over 30 years will be cause for genuine concern at Sony. 3DS sales also fell this week, by almost 50 per cent, to 100,668 units.

Media Create's software chart has a new number one, with Namco Bandai PSP mouthful Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Masou Kishin II going straight in at the top unseating Mario Kart 7, which had occupied top spot for four weeks. Nintendo's 3DS title Spirit Camera debuts in seventh.

01. Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Masou Kishin II (Namco Bandai, PSP)

02. Mario Kart 7 (Nintendo, 3DS)

03. Monster Hunter Tri G (Nintendo, 3DS)

04. Super Mario 3D Land (Nintendo, 3DS)

05. Inazuma Eleven Go (Level-5, 3DS)

06. Musou Orochi 2 (Tecmo Koei, PS3)

07. Spirit Camera (Nintendo, 3DS)

08. Final Fantasy XIII-2 (Square Enix, PS3)

09. Ace Combat 3D Cross Rumble (Namco Bandai, 3DS)

10. Just Dance Wii (Nintendo, Wii)

Its big but I think it can fit into most pockets. The sticks stick out a bit but I did not get a chance to put it in my pocket to see how it feels as I probably would look like I was stealing one. Nyaa

There is a new Keifer Sutherland show with a deaf kid who can see the future or some crap. I cannot see him as anyone but Jack Bauer, that show will not work.

Square is still talking about possibly remaking FF7....oh my fucking word, either do it or don't, just shut the fuck up about it. There have been rumors about them remaking FF7 since the Gamecube days, when everyone thought that was next after Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid. Just stop....its to the point where nobody cares anymore.

I played the demo for Darkness 2. Seems pretty cool, but nothing incredible or anything. Gunplay seems alot better than the 1st game though. It feels weird playing a sequel to a game that was basically an Xbox 360 launch window game from like 6 years ago. I wouldn't likely buy this game at full price, but I'd definitely think about it at $20. I really liked The Darkness when it 1st came out, but times have changed, and there amount of quality games to play have changed too.
