You know sometimes the foreign language throws up funny or ridiculous gaming related phrases or story titles.
This is one of those times:
Max Payne 3 : gros retard !
Let's hope it's not prophetic.,
Funny because it's true.
If anyone's bored here is a movie Trailer For 'Zombie Ass: Toilet Of The Dead'
The film revolves around a group of friends who find their holiday in the woods going down the toilet after numerous poop covered zombies attack.
Wracked with guilt over the suicide of her sister Ai, who was tormented by high school bullies, pretty young karate student Megumi accompanies a group of older friends on a trip into the woods: smart girl Aya, her druggie boyfriend Tak, big-boobed model Maki, and nerdy Naoi. Things start to go badly when Maki finds a parasitical worm inside a fish they catch – and wolfs it down alive, in the hope that it’ll help keep her skinny. And then suddenly... zombies!
The zombie part is the most realistic thing about that plot.
Hudson to Close: Konami decides
Crap how'd I miss that? Damn, damn, damn...
RIP little bee.
Poor Hudson. I only remember Bomberman fondly, though.
Oh yeah, the Bonk games for TG16. Never even saw one of those damned things. We knew they existed but they might as well have been mythical items crafted by gods.
I only played a TG16 once at an event showing off the system and I got to play Bonk and R Type. Didn't touch any of those games again until years later on the VC. But Bonk was still fun.
Hve you posted about this here before or did I somehow come across it myself awhile ago?
I worked at NEC when the Turbo came out, I was tester and phone consoler. Good old times.
Oh no kidding? Very cool. I always wanted one, after that 45 minutes plaing one, but it just wasn't meant to be. Any good stories from working that job?
Tried out the Kingdoms of Amalur demo. Kind of fun, nice looking game. It has a MMO-meets-torchlight vibe to its visual style. It's pretty easy on requirements, and it has loads of colors. Combat is simplistic at the beginning, though you can unlock moves and combos as you progress. Story is standard fantasy fare.
The only way to go to battle.
Little dude couldn't cope with the awesomeness of the hot ass of my character.
My girl is so badass she pierced that dude's chest with her bare hand. No, that's not clipping.
You get magic abilities.
You can also unlock tits.
At the end of the tutorial you fight and kill some nude thing. Afterwards you reach a town where things open up a bit and you're let loose to do as you wish.
Too many, between NEC and Viacom working on Beavis and Butthead for 3 years.
Well I went to the Vita event Sony had in Miami, didn't spend much time there cause I also went to the Heat game which was INCREDIBLE! Anyway I did get a chance to try it out so here are my impressions. The system feels great in your hands, it fits comfortably and weighs almost nothing. The screen is HUGE, its stunning to look at with its vibrant colors and overall quality. The sticks are tiny and feel plasticy, like plastic pegs, not the rubberish feel of most sticks. I didn't care for them too much, I personally rather have a numb like the 3DS has. The face buttons are small, dpad is ok and the triggers are big and feel good.
As you hold it, your hand rests comfortably on the back touch panel which I got to try with Little Deviants. In one part of the demo I would raise the ground depending on where my finger touched and I had to guide this ball shaped creature into a hole. It was pretty responsive but felt strange controlling something from the back. The menus on the Vita work with the front touch screen which is super responsive, like Iphone good. I loved navigating the Vita menu which has bubbles with the apps, I like the stylish layout which works way better for a touch screen device than an XMB would. There was another part of Little Deviants which used the built in camera for some augmented reality gameplay, this was a complete rip off of face raiders on the 3DS. Here little enemies on planes are displayed against your background you move the entire Vita around using its motion control to aim, so you end up turning around or looking up and down to find the enemies and shoot them. The background is just there, it adds nothing but I will say the camera quality is nice and obviously blows away what the 3DS can do. The impression I got is that the 3DS is like a toy (I love my 3DS but that thing has ancient tech compared to this) and this thing is a high end electronic device.
I did not get to play many games but I at least played the ones i wanted to play. Of course topping that list is Uncharted and I must say they somehow got PS3 like graphics on a handheld, it's pretty crazy. It looks like Uncharted, has all the awesome background effects like buring buildings and complex scripted moments you would expect from the game. The only area it looks different is on the models which don't have the same detail as their PS3 counterparts. There were two chapters to choose from, one a platforming level in a buring building and the other a sniper battle. I started with the platforming and it plays just like you would expect. I strangely had trouble with the sticks, moving Drake was fine but adjusting the camera did not come as natural to me as it does on the PS3. The situation got worse when I was aiming, I dont know if its the size of the sticks or maybe its not as responsive as the PS3 or even if its just getting used to the placement (which shouldnt be a problem as its close to the Dual Shock), it was just weird.
Motion and touch controls come into play at times like when you need to balance on a beam you move the Vita around. Strangely when I was hanging from a beam the only way to get back up was to tap the beam on the screen, not press up or X. At one point there was a totally random slashing moment, where you pull out your knife and giant arrows come on the screen telling you where to to slash, you simply follow the on screen prompts and the Drake cuts through a tent. It's like a totally pointless QTE, that is bad implementation of touch control. Menus are all navigated with your touch screen, you cant even use the sticks or buttons if you wanted too. I took a peak at the menus and there seems to be a bunch of stuff in there, way more than the console games. It looks like each chapter has a log of all secerets and stats. The shooting demo has you stuck on a balcony with sniper rifles and you have to protect a woman. So you take cover and fire on bad guys. Again I had some difficulty with the aiming stick but here you can use the Vita itself to aim which I was used to with the 3DS and it works surprisingly well. Not much to the demo, it's Uncharted, I didnt even get to any classic cover shooting areas.
I also tried LittleBigPlanet which was a beta version or something cause it kept crashing every few minutes. I only got to play two levels but already the potental I saw blows my mind. The first level has you hold the Vita vertically and the level is like an old school top down racing game but with Tron like effects, awesome. The other level has sack boy stuck in a bubble and you control the bubble only with the touch screen. Of course this causes the issue of your finger getting in the way of the screen, if you have played any cell phone games you know what to expect. I do find using a stylus on the DS to be more responsive than my finger on a giant touchscreen, it is a tad bit more accurate but in this LBP level it did not harm the gameplay in anyway as it wasn't too difficult a level to navigate. Who knows what other Vita features the other levels use, that is the killer app.
I got to see Wipeout but not play it, WOW gorgeous. Seriously just incredible looking and probably a game you should be getting. There was Hot Shots Golf which looked terrible with really jaggy graphics, totally didn't match the graphical levels of the other games. So overall the hardware is great my only issue being the sticks. It feels state of the art, it is something you are probably going to want to show off. The games so far seem ok, Uncharted didn't do much for me, LBP is the one I really want. They succeeded in making a portable that matches current gen graphics and that in itself is pretty insane. The question I need to answer is do I want another current gen system right now even if this one is portable...
Look what you have done to poor George Lucas. He wants to retire now. http://www.aintitcool.com/node/52726

Sorry, I feel nothing.
Logic dictates that this is good news.
I posted about it before, but that is a new trailer. I haven't watched any of the videos, it's just too absurd.
That's sad.
Well at least you have the Clone Wars tv series to watch. It's pretty good most of the time.
