MGS PW's story is really pissing me off. I am at chapter 3 and what I said earlier got expanded on. They are seriously just going to retcon MGS3s ending, FU Kojima.
Now Snake says the recording he got at the end of MGS3 was probably just madeup to make him feel better and that the boss really did defect.
Why not? It worked out fairly well for Spiderman 3That was from the old demo so there are some differences but yeah.
And if you want the main stuff and encounters to flow better then don't do any extra ops until you finish it. I don't think the bosses repeated much at all in the main campaign, only their extra ops minor variations did, and those that had way too much health to be fun solo also tended to just be the extra ops co-op focused ones.

Strong software lineup? Are they serious? After a year and a half of releasing just one game (and even that wasn't released worldwide).
Seriously I hope this doesn't allow Nintendo to just rest on their laurels and release nothing of any significance for the next three years. Oh well, hopefully this has at least raised the profile of the 3DS in the eyes of 3rd party developers so we may hopefully get a good stream of software from that direction similarly to what happened for the DS round about the same time in its timeline

That is PR speak. The 3DS will have Japanese 3rd party support, but not western 3rd party support. Kinda like it was with the DS. All signs point that Nintendo is not resting on its laurels with the 3ds. They did in the beginning and they paid a big price for that. Now Nintendo is in a desperation mode and they are kicking ass again. Hopefully they will be in desperation mode with the Wii-U when it lauches.
All non-Italians should die.

Forget everything I said before, Kojima is a brilliant brilliant man, another masterpiece!
The "ending" (it doesnt really end there) is incredible. I probably only done like 30% of the game. Its not at the levels of the consoles games but come on, what is. It is a portable game masterpiece, the story is great and a return to MGS3 form with an emotional impact without all sorts of crazy weirdness messing it up.
I want MGS5 so badly now,
The beginning of Big Boss turning to the dark side, this is awesome! They have to remake MG1, that should be the next game.
I've just finished Arkham City. Damn was it short and easy and never really escalated to awesome. Seriously, this felt like a prologue to the real game. I guess they spent too much time building the city and then didn't have time to make content. Few boss fights, those that were there weren't great, few inventive environmental challenges. All it did for actual challenge was throw you in a room with tons of thugs, but with the spammy combat it's all the same anyway. Meh. Arkham Asylum was an awesome tightly paced Metroid-like experience full of greatness with a single low point (Croc), this was a light, short sandbox wannabe. I only liked that stealth was a bit more freeform this time and usable in seemingly more and most of the game.
I have a few more things to do like finish Catwoman's business, get all the Titan stuff, and the rest Riddler trophies (which I probably won't do) but eh, I doubt those will change my mind about it... New Game Plus sounds nice but hopefully it's balanced and doesn't do crazy things like triple the amount of armored enemies with guns and shields in tight rooms or whatever...
