Speaking of comics if there's any fans of Darksiders out there, Joe Madureira is actually doing comics again on the side. He's current drawing Avenging Spider-Man which is kind of a Spider-Man team-up comic. The art, as much as it pains me to say, is awesome. Fun story too so it's worth picking up.

The MG Rising doc is one of the best I have ever seen, they hold nothing back, are completely open with their faliures and how this team up came to be. The game looks so fantastic, Kojima is the fucking man, Platinum are a bunch of pimps. This game will be incredible.

I'm not really liking how over the top everything seems with Metal Gear Rising....I tend to really agree with that dude from IGN. The series has always had crazy elements, but yet also enough grounded in realism to feel, well, realistic. Similar to Resident Evil or any number of other games or movies. My fear with this game, just watching cars and shit getting sliced in half, is that its going to be so over the top that its just ridiculous. For a game like Bayonetta, that is fine. But for Metal Gear?

I also agree that what made the 1st MGS so great was partly that it WAS the Metal Gear game most grounded in realism out of the entire franchise. MGS2 got a bit nuts but not to the point of hurting the series, then MGS3 brought it back down to Earth quite a bit, then MGS4 was a bit crazy like MGS2. But MGR here is on a whole new level.

Of course, the absence of classic stealth-based Metal Gear gameplay is also a major issue. I think its going to be a case of a game being good for what it is, but not really what it should be. This is why Devil May Cry was not turned into a Resident Evil title. And ironically enough, many of the developers working on this game were likely part of that team, since Platinum is a Capcom spinoff.

Well, the cat has liver cancer, they removed a tumour but there are more and polips that they couldn't take out.

Well I was all excited to share this but now it seems so insignificant. Kirby's Epic Yarn is $8 at Bestbuy.com if anyone wants it. I'm buying.

It might be possible to extend his life with leukimia treatments. I'm taking it a bit better than the last cat as that one died suddenly and at a young age. This one is old and knowing I'll still be with him for a while helps. Thanks. I feel a bit stupid when you guys are losing friends and family members and I'm in the dumps over a pet.

Yeah they do.

They need to get the biopsy results first, the vet mentioned some treatment that could double the time remaining to him, but I'm not sure I want him in any pain or further surgeries.

He mentioned something about chemo and injections but they have to wait for the biopsy results first.
