So what are you sons of motherless whores playing?
I'm finishing up Mario Kart 7. I've completed all the tracks on all the levels with gold cups, so now I'm more or less just focusing on the online rankings.
Also today I just started James Noir's Hollywood Crimes. Not a bad game. Pretty much a Professor Layton knock-off set in Hollywood 1961. THe puzzles aren't up to Layton quality, but they're not half bad. The presentation leaves a lot to be desired. It reminds me a lot of early CD ROM PC games. The pacing of the story and the voice acting both need a lot of work too. All that being said the story is excellent. Very good mystery. Not Hotel Dusk or LA Noire level, but there's been some very creative twists and turns in this story and despite all the flaws I've had a tough time putting it down.
And as I said above, I've also been squeezing in a few rounds of Pushmo here and there. Very good puzzle game. Exactly the kind of game that made me such of fan of all the early DSiWare. Hope this is a sign of things to come for the eShop.
kthxbai.
** Finished! **
** Dabbled a bit in these two (above and below) **
Problem is: Right now I don't want to play anything. I can't play Zelda comfortably yet, and THAT'S what I want to play --AND-- I was looking forward to a nice 60-80 hour game to sink my teeth into in Skyrim, and that turned out to be a mess. I don't think I am buying any online games anymore either. I --NEVER-- seem to be able to coordinate with anyone to actually play them! I think I am going into a gaming funk at the worst time of year possible.
I'm glad you two are enjoying Pushmo, Robio and Bugsie. I am too, in spurts. It's a good, fun, happy little game... I just don't know if I am in the mood for it right now.
We've got to have a major multiplayer gaming blowout for the VGpress. We can never get together, but I feel as though we need to. I was gonna play Horde with Vader, but got carried away with Skyward Sword. I feel that Gears 3 multiplayer might be just what we need to get together as a group. Let's try to make this happen for the VGpress, I mean really happen.
Oh, I played Skyward Sword all week and nothing but. I finally finished it.
Problem with that is... I don't have a 360 at the moment.
*Don't ask!*
Why Leo! Whhhhyyyy!
I avoided Skyward Sword for a week (burned out). Tonight I went back, and finished the 4th dungeon.

I beat the 8 worlds in Mario 3DS thinking the game was too short, then it opened up another 8 worlds. There are completely new levels but there are also harder remixes of the exisiting levels. Iga, don't say it. Don't say spoilers!
Great game so far, best portable mario platformer ever. Not at Galaxy level because the levels are too short, but it does still showcase the design talent of this team, their ingenuity and creativity.
New RE Revelations videos
Ooooh we should all play Diablo 2 together!
Thanks. Title isn't cut off anymore anway. Props to whoever edited if someone did.
BTW Great job with the news today GG. Lots of good stuff in there.
And I have to admit I'm starting to get excited about RE Revelations. I need to watch some gameplay videos of this to see if it's something I'd be capable of playing.
Thanks man.
You should get Mario 3D Land, if you liked Galaxy that is.
At some point I probably will, but I just don't have the interest in it right now. If I want to play that kind of game I still have plenty of levels to go back to on Galaxy 2 that I never finished the first time around.
I'm back! What did I miss? Returned last night from the not-so-sunny beaches of Cancún where I attended an academic meeting. Too bad I didn't get to see any asses over there. And the only ones I did see were ugly ones. >_<
Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. Ugh, just call it Metal Gear Rising.
Also, most lame overused words= Dudebro, Emo, and Dogg.
I glanced at those RE Revelations pics for a split second and foolishly thought for a minute that Nintendo had actually announced a new cool looking Wii game. Then reality set in.
I got a feeling they're going to be given a dififerent DC Comics property. DC (and ultimately Time Warner) are desperate to have some kind of success for another one of their characters since they continue to struggle crossing over to different mediums with everyone but Batma. For some reason the comic book community seems to think that they're going to take a swing and give Rocksteady the Flash and see if they can make a good game with him.
