Miyamoto has not been in a director role since OoT. Miyamoto wants to be more hands-on with gaming. This has nothing to do with taking risks. If you read Iwata Ask you see that usually Miyamoto comes up with crazy ass ideas like having Zelda in first person back when they were making OoT and guys like Koizumi just nodding their head and then proceed to ignore him. Or in Galaxy that he was against any story in the game and Koizumi just started hiding the story.

I think it is good news. Miyamoto really seems like the type that wants to create games instead of overseeing it. He has been overseeing so many games his influence stretches thin. People wll still probably ask him for advice, but he want to do less of that and that is good. They are kinda using Miyamoto as a crutch. Believe it or not, Miyamoto is mortal and he will retire someday.

Mario and Zelda are in good hands. Koizumi is a stud and Aonuma want to keep changing Zelda. He already did a good job in Skyward Sword, so let's see what he can do with Wii-U, plus he made Majora so he is auto awesome.

Not sure who is who but I read that the director of SS was the director of PH, so he should never direct a Zelda game again. I also heard that the director of ST was in charge of the sky portion of the game which means he has no clue how to make an overworld and should never be allowed to be near an overworld again.  If these two guys are going to be in charge of Zelda we are in trouble.

The production value of Green Lantern versus Thor and Captain America was embarassing! It was a fun movie for sure, but nowhere near the ambition of Thor and Cap.

Out of the three, I have to say I almost favor Thor a little more. It just had themes I could relate to more than Cap. The Frost Giants parts of Thor were great. A lot of Captain America seemed to be played out in montages. I must say, I did love the special effects of little Steve Rogers versus full-grown Cap though! That was amazing!

Today was totally cathartic. It's good to believe in heroes sometimes. My world has been a little dark and gloomy these days. The only little bit of hero action I've seen lately was a big mistake and left me with a few fractured body parts. Not exactly heroic.

I think I am a big enough man to say I get swept up in these movies. My heart soars at the heroic action and I even tear up a little bit when tragedy occurs (Loki and Bucky). The thought of Cap missing his date and waking up in modern NYC got to me as well. I don't know what has gotten into me lately. Everything around me seems broken (not just fractured)... and I've been seeking out that little bit of extra hope that only Super Heroes sometimes can provide. Don't know if anyone gets what I mean, but when all is said and done, I do recommend all three movies, even if it's only for a bit of escapism.

I love super hero movies for many of the same reasons. You are not alone Leo. I hope you feel better as well.

Pretty damned great movie too...aside from the ending.

And fantastic to know that Aspro is down for some UC3 MP. Need to really get back into that.

No surprise Mario didn't make it. 3DS is selling well week to week, but all things considered that's still a very small user base. I'd be surprised to see any 3DS chart this year.
